/**Update**/ "We moved the birthday party to Acrosports in League City, and it went off without a hitch. The staff was helpful, informed and great with the kids. That said, I am changing the rating to reflect the gym appearance and service since most of us joined for the gym part of Life Time."/**Gym Review**/From the moment you walk in you're welcomed with a smile and every staff member is ready and willing to assist with any questions. I've been to several other gyms, and this one ranks at the very top when it comes to service, equipment variety, equipment availability, and cleanliness. While I haven't had an opportunity to attend a class or use their trainers from my observation the trainers and class instructors are the very best. They are well trained and are great with their clients. The staff in the kids' area are always accommodating, caring and they have a large selection of classes for kids to attend. I hope to be a member for a long time to come and increase my membership level so that I visit the new location coming to the greenway area./**~January 14**/ Update - DO NOT SCHEDULE A KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH THEM until they have a properly trained staff. My wife just got off the phone with them and they blamed the problem on us for changing themes which is strange since we met with Nancy on Saturday and she said everything was open and she would get back to us on final pricing. We put the deposit down based on the information provided by Will from Cypress as soon as they opened. However, Nancy kept saying the pricing was different and would get back to us but she never did. We've must have called her between 10-20 times and no luck. At this point, we're canceling the party and moving on. Just sad though. BTW - I don't do 1-star reviews but in this case I believe it is warranted./**January 8 at 12:48 PM**/ DO NOT SCHEDULE A KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY until they get things together. Initially, we signed up with Will from the Cypress location who was helping them out during the grand opening. Since then we have been working for Nancy Perez and still have not been able to finalize our details. She doesn't know the price, she doesn't know what they can offer and really is playing it by ear while she learns the ropes. I don't have a problem with that but today, we are told that we cannot extend an hour after talking to her about that a few days because they already booked another party. What we find ridiculous is that they still haven't finalized our details and they are already reserving other parties. I get that it's a new location but why not keep an expert there while we train the staff. I'm asking for any manager to give us a call and help us get this sorted out. We are less than 10 days out and can't get a printed price list and finalized details.

I have been a member at the cinco ranch location for many years. I am moving to the bay Brook area and excited to transfer to this one.The membership is $10 more than what I'm paying and it becomes difficult for the people at the front desk to let me try out 1 day. Then I go to the cafe after finally getting in and lay on the couch..... The staff says I can not lay on the couch.... Where is the sign that says " no laying on the couch"?I am no longer excited after first experience with this new gym. Already issues is telling me I need to cancel my membership if I move to this area.

As usual of Lifetime, their staff and facilities are great quality. They have complementary towels, body wash, and conditioner in their showers. This location also has some tennis courts outside. Overall, it’s a quality facility with many benefits for all ages.

I took my kids to the kids club. I didn’t like how the manager of the kids club basically told me that my kid had and attitude because he didn’t want to participate in yoga, etc. I’m upset because when I signed my kids up they said they would be able to utilize the different rooms in the kids club. Come to find out they basically have to stay in the front room instead of being able to go play basketball, go read, or use the computer room. So they put kids ranged from 2-11 together 90 percent of the time. Doesn’t sound too safe to me for the little ones or the big ones from catching colds etc from the toddlers! 🤷♀️

Mats smell horrible that are in the workout rooms. Frequently run out of mat cleaners. The free classes are very repetitive with what u do in them. No hand sanitizer in the entire upstairs. The smoothies are probably the worst ones I have had. The memberships are ridiculously expensive and anything that isn’t included in your membership is super expensive to do. Be careful when you sign up they will tell you anything to get your money.

I have had a membership here since the day it opened. I love this gym , nice staff and nice gym overall, BUT the problem I have that ruined the gym for me is that 8am to 6pm, 1 of the basketball courts is being used for daycare Monday-friday and its until August 26, and some days at 7pm-10 PM is adult league games which leaves only 1 court and its packed with like 20+ people just shooting around. Totally dumb that they run the daycare at the basketball courts, and when the daycare is over, the workers dont clean well and leave the basketball goals at 7ft and not 10ft, and I almost forgot to mention is that there used to be 5v5 games every week night but can't do that anymore because of adult league games and daycare! I'm cancelling my membership.

General staff is self absorbed and seemed to be more interested in their terrible day at work than replacing the spoiled half and half for the members.Half of the aquatic department are great the other just needs work on their customer service.Still haven't heard for any department, corporate office or on site manager.I feel the price point there should be more training on the experience of the members. The staff just makes my family feel unwelcome to be there.

LOVE this place. Nothing like it and no other company compares. Water is wet and weights are heavy everywhere you go, but I’ve found that it’s the staff and amenities that really elevate Life Time miles above the competition. It’s more expensive, but so are iPhones —- you get what you pay for. When it comes to your health and wellness, what is too expensive? Here’s a few highlights from my time around the building:When you first walk in, Meghan and her team set the stage and get you ready for the best part of your day!Kids Academy is amazing. You get 2 hours of FREE childcare, with engaging age-appropriate activities. Carrie is the best and always takes care of every family. The pools are always super clean , which is super important to me. Beka is super friendly and runs a great team. You get over 100 weekly studio classes....and it’s FREE. Adriana and Kelly’s classes are the absolute best, their passion for what they do truly shows. They have tennis too?! I took lessons with Philippa....I still suck lol, but she was amazing! They also have a pretty dank cafe that is always busy. The food is healthy and Purdie’s service is second to none.I love their gorgeous locker-rooms. Best part is they have everything you need, from q-tips to towels. And they’re always CLEAN. Shout out to Teri and her awesome crew.If you’ve made it this far down this post....just join already! Hit up their Sale Manager, Nate —- he got my family set up, and it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made!

I walked in using my boyfriends guest pass and I PROMISE YOU... the lady working at the front counter said “You’re signing in as a guest? Yeah I can tell by the way you look.” She said so as she was dangling her keys and rolling her eyes. THIS IS HORRIBLE customer service. I was soo close on getting a membership for myself but now, I don’t ever want to set foot in the overpriced gym again. I’ve been to more genuine friendly places for less the price, and I still burn the same calories. So If you want to go to a nice gym with all the luxuries, go for it. However I don’t think it’s a very welcome environment, in my opinion, your money is all they want.

The kids love the kids' center, which is a great break for dad. No screens on in the kids' center, except for the occasional dance party video in the toddler area. Seems really high quality and my kids are always excited to go back. They have legos, some books and drawing supplies in addition to the more active play options. Great for working out for me also. Nice and hot dry and steam saunas. Also, I live nearby and am impressed with the job they did on the landscaping - it all seemed to go in in about a week somehow.
