Just moved to Pines from Tamarac and decided to try out this Crunch, since I already had a membership. Before getting into this, please note that I do think this is a great beginner gym and should definitely be checked out if you are just getting into fitness!Pros:-Very nice staff-Very clean facilities-Great beginner gymCons:-Very small gym-Not enough equipment to go around during busy periods-If a machine is broken, there are no replacements since there is only one of each machine for the most part (there were about 2 or 3 machines broken when I went)-Insanely hot on the inside (When I left, it was about 75 degrees outside and it felt cold compared to the temperature inside the gym)-Not great for advanced lifters who need some of the machines that isolate muscle groups more (bigger Crunches have these)All in all, I think I was spoiled by how big the Tamarac Crunch is, so I was disappointed by this location. I will probably just wait until the Crunch in West Pines opens up this summer and stick to a different gym until then.

I really loved this place, cozy and friendly until you need to review or cancel your subscription. Poor communication, misinformation, additional fees for any change you want to make, and it's impossible get a fast and reliable solution. I'm not gonna say don't go there, I just advise you, reed everything, ask for copy of your signed documents, and keep it simple. If you need an answer forget it, Managers are always in a meeting.UPDATE: They are very good answering back through here but not the same way when you call or send an email. Make yourself a favor and go to another gym. And for your Information Community Manager, Stephanie Nieves haven't talked to me in person neither phone, just one scripted email. Thanks.

The place is clean. Staff is professional and frsiendly. Crowd is okay during evening. Around 6PM, the group classes have too many people but the 7PM classes are not crowded at all. To me, the volume in the Zumba class is way too loud in that closed space. They have a variety of services and I will definitely recommend this gym.

Seems like a cool place however definitely don’t recommend for teens (16-17) really looking for a gym over the summer.To get away from home or be away from parents or whatever. it requires parental intervention (unlike some straight forward gyms which allow teens to workout without much resistance, i.e Planet fitness, 24 hour fitness, La fitness and more) and it sucks even more when a gym is practically home for some but just beware fellow young gym rats );

I really like Crunch as a whole. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This location is more like Crunch Jr because it’s small and doesn’t have a lot of the equipment that other Crunch’s have in South Florida. There are only pockets of windows to get a good lift without the gym being crowded cause of the space, the new trainers just standing there staring (I’m assuming looking for new clients so I respect the hustle it just feels creepy) or the music blaring from the hit zone. Basically with this Crunch you get what you pay for. 🤷🏾♂️

hate to go full Karen but I’ve reached my breaking point. this is definitely one of the worst gyms I’ve been to.it’s incredibly small and not only is the amount of equipment inadequate, their selection of it is astonishingly horrible.the air conditioning is so bad, it should be considered a human rights violation.you have to sign out barbell clips from the front desk(????) i guess that’s more reflective of the character of the clientele that goes here since apparently they steal clips that they don’t even have use for outside the gym..???and the other pines location has been under construction for ages and since i moved cities, they are not letting me cancel my membership since it’s “not my original crunch” and no one answers their corporate number. no harsh feelings towards the staff though, i’m sure they wanna be there just as little as i do.amped fitness is pretty mid tier, but far better than this crunch AND it’s cheaper. even YouFit is better

Kevin and Damian were amazing. They are some of the most energetic Gym associates I have met. They did a challenge or competition for a giveaway and we’re super motivating when it comes to everything. I already have a membership but they made me want to refer more people to this specific crunch

This place is awesome! My home gym is in Bonita Springs and I came here for vacation, the staff was so helpful! They guided me on what to do since I did not have my keycard. They even went above and beyond by allowing me to charge my phone in their station. Great location, highly recommended!

Overall a solid gym with everything you need to get a good workout. Not the widest selection of machines, but plenty of dumbbells and barbells to compensate for it and there is a good variety of cardio equipment. Staff is friendly and will usually greet and say goodbye on your way out. You get a lot of value for the price of membership which is very inexpensive in comparison to other nearby gyms.**Updated my rating since receiving a reply on my original review. I did cancel my membership after 3 years and joined another gym as a result**_________________________Water dispensed from the their drinking fountain at 93.9 degrees. I have brought to attention of several staff members, Crunch website, Instagram and now on Google. I have requested to be contacted on Crunch’s website and on surveys. No one has contacted me. The reason provided for hot water…”We have to pick between hot water in the shower or cold drinking water”I’ll adjust my rating once you fix the issue.

I recently signed up back On August 1st with a promotion that included the first month free. For personal reasons (including moving out unexpectedly), I needed to cancel 2 weeks after I signed up. I called the gym, and I was advised to either come into the gym or email the manager to request a cancellation. I emailed the manager on August 20, surprisingly, never got a response. After 11 days without getting a response and my bank account being charged, I had to drive to the gym. When I got there, I explained to the employee my situation, and she told me because of the Florida State laws, I will be charged the first month of service plus $53.45 of annual fee (about $81 total), although I am cancelling 2 weeks after I signed and although I got the first month free.Not only I am going to be charged for all these fees, but it was very unprofessional that no one or the MANAGER even replied to my email. It clearly shows that they make this in purpose for the customers to keep getting charged. IT IS A RIP OFF. I would never recommend this Gym or Crunch Fitness to nobody.BTW, I am specifically talking about the Pembroke Pines location.
