Taking advantage of a single mom! So not only was i fat shamed and pressured into sighing, I was promised "no hidden fees" to come to find out I'm getting charged over $90 dollars??? I signed up for $26 dollars a month THATS IT and was promised "no annual fees" you guys are shady ill be speaking with my bank tomorrow about blacklisting your business from charging me! This is my cancelation letter!

I was going to the front desk area to weigh myself and the Assistant Floor Manager Tommy tells me the scales don't work. Tommy tells me to weigh myself on the Evolt Active machine, I didn't know he was lining me up to make a sales pitch. So this machine measures fat, muscle, etc. and Tommy starts to use scare tactics about my weight, diet and workout routine. He also tells me I shouldn't be vegan and not believe things I hear about veganism and other diets. But on the same note he tells one of the trainers is vegan and gets great results. Tommy then tries to sell me a personal trainer workout plan I never inquired about. I didn't appreciate the comments about my weight or diet I was just simply looking to weigh myself. My advice to Tommy is don't be a raunchy sales guy and learn some people skills young man.

2021 Update: 1 more year down. I am about to celebrate my 13th continuous year as a member of EoS Fitness, Peoria AZ. I can't believe how the time has passed.Again, the staff is amazing. We, like many other businesses, have had a turnover in staff since last year. Again, we are fortunate have a great staff. You will be greeted upon arrival with big smiles and welcomes.The front desk staff, led by Danell is always happy to see us arrive. Our Operations Manager, Jasie is just a delight to talk to. I always feel that they are happy to see us. The other team members are also friendly, caringand knowledgeable.The facility is amazingly clean thanks to Tim, our maintenance manger and the members who pick up after themselves and wipe down the equipment when they are finished with it.Again, I highly recommend EoS.Update: 2 Years later - We survived the shutdowns due to the virus that is covering the country. The staff has done a remarkable job of making sure we are safe while we workout. A staff cleans/sanitizes all of the equipment throughout the day and members clean the equipment before and after use. The gym is sanitized every night. We maintain the 6 foot social distancing rule and no one is admitted without a face mask. We have added a lot of new staff members since that long shutdown. I have found that all of them are pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable.I am very proud to have been a member of EOS Fitness, Thunderbird for the last 12 years and hope to be there another 12 years. - 15 Oct 2020I joined this gym 10 years ago when it was Gold's Gym. I attend a minimum of 4 mornings a week. That said, I have seen the gym go through many changes.I am so pleased with the work our new GM, Joey, is doing. He has made an amazing difference in the gym. The new management from EOS Fitness really seems to care about their gyms. If they didn't, Joey would not be able to do the great job he is doing.I attend classes every morning and use the cardio equipment as a supplement.A special thanks to our new maintenance manager. Tim is amazing. He really cares about our gym and it shows. Thanks Tim. Of course, thanks to the front desk staff, headed by Renee - you guys are the best.I have found the the people who have the most problems with this gym have brought them on themselves. Every public facility is going to be unacceptable to SOME people. Can't be helped when you are dealing with so many personalities. -- 2018

cancelled next dayi was mailed a flier for a $.07 complimentary sign up / fall membership.manager charged me full pricehigh pressure sales on getting a personal trainer.explained i simply wanted the basic and just to try it out.nopethe mailer saidno charges till october $0.07none of which matched the agreement i received in the email.The rep who helped me on the phone didnt even attempt to make a correction either.they still spam call me for sales even though i said never call me againbunch of looooosers

Every gym has a spill, let the guys give their speech, as it is apart of their job description, and get the gym membership! Know that even if u get the best membership it does NOT come with towel service. That's $10 a month. Location is clean, just check ahead for spa or pool if ur looking for amenities, some locations are different. Great workout place, ple ty of great equipment. Plenty Eye candy, if that's what ur into, plenty there. Male or female, or IDK...seriously, u can still get a great workout!

Went in looking to see the vibe of the basketball courts, was told I need to buy a membership after the tour, felt like I was buy a car not a gym membership and the “BRO” said bro about 1000 timesManager came over and refused to offer a 7 day pass which I should have done myself online.Get your 7 day pass online if your heading into this gym…

I am unhappy with the personal training I was going in there to do my own thing and was practically forced into signing on to it and he went so low to 20$ so i just agreed and then proceeded to cancel the next day and i was told I couldn’t get my 20$ but I can cancel before my next payment which would go up to 144$ so i chose to cancel but to my surprise I was charged and now they are not giving me my money back even though it isn’t my fault they didn’t cancel bc i called to cancel and because they’re worker isn’t doing their job i am now paying for it. they are only in it for the money and do not care about their members.

Very clean and staff is friendly. Things get fixed quickly. Can get busy at times like a normal gym. There are 6 squat racks inside. Plenty of free weights. There is an outdoor area to workout, indoor pool and hot tub. Saunas present in locker rooms.

I signed up for a $10 membership and was billed 29.99 for blackbox that I was not made aware of and 29.99 membership club fee every 2 weeks!. Resulting in $480! They told me I could not get refunded and to cancel would be billed again because it takes 30days! They take advantage of people! Horrible people!

I canceled my membership back in 2019 after moving to coolidge. Since then I've been randomly charged the $21.00 membership fee despite canceling. I've called and had my cancelation confirmed, told it would be canceled moving forward. And now here I am being charged again. Tried calling to have the charge removed again however that requires someone to pick up the phone...slammed my hand on the counter and now I need 1 less gym membership and 2 more pain pills.
