At 24 hour fitness right now in plantation, FL and every machine I've been on is broken. I went on 3 different ellipticals in which either the angle increase button was malfunctioned or the machine itself was falling apart as you start pedaling. I also went on 3 different treadmills in which one did not allow acceleration or incline, the next did not allow incline and the 3rd the treadmill had a broken screen. Waste of my money. Canceling soon.

This place should be called 24 Hour Daycare. Roving bands of high schoolers have overtaken the gym at any given time - you can spot them by their “unique” haircut, the group of 5+ sitting in the squat rack for 30+ minutes, or the wake of unracked weights they leave behind. Finding a matching pair of dumbbells has become harder than finding gas below $4.00/gallon since the new cohort of patrons tend to leave a single in strange places (30lb dumbbell found next to the calf raise machine?). Clearly the new $10/mo price tag has invited literally everyone to this place and not for the better.

I ve been in this gym for the past 2 years cause I don’t I have any other choice. All I want you guys know is that this gym is getting worse day by day, there are some much equipment that doesn’t work and don’t even do an effort to fix it , 80% of the times the ac is not working besides of its hygiene. Women’s restrooms are gross , only two toilets are in service and they are filthy ! I feel sooooo frustrated cause I paid the anual membership at this place and I still have many months to end it … I won’t recommend this gym to people who is really committed to physical activity cause all its technical problems affects your routines and your health due to the high temperatures in the room …. Don’t waste your money here ….. or may be to give your money for free to this franchise! 😡😡😡😡😡

I had a horrible experience with a front desk worker named Moe. I have been a member for years and as you may know many of the other members completely disregard common courtesy, especially in the pool area. In this instance a member had 2 Bluetooth speakers set up around the spa and was blasting music and singing loudly. I went to the front desk and spoke with Moe, who said he would ask the man to turn down the music. The man turned it down until Moe walked out, then immediately turned the volume back up. When I spoke with Moe a second time he stated that since I was the only member voicing a complaint and there was no manager present he would not do anything else about it. After asking a few more questions about why they wouldn’t do anything they said there was no rule against playing music as loud as someone wants to and that I am being “extremely childish” for pressing the matter further. He also slammed a water bottle and used profanity while speaking to me, specifically the word “shit” in a scathing tone, which I find to be not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful. Another worker named Savannah forcefully demanded to know my name as if there would be some sort of repercussion for voicing my complaint. They stated that if I don’t like how they are handling this I can cancel my membership and if I played my own music that I would have to face the consequences which may consist of 24 fitness terminating my membership (clearly a threat to scare me into not bringing it up with management). At no point was I angry or raising my voice, I was simply surprised that they would respond to a simple complaint in such an egregious and downright offensive manner. I guess customer service just doesn’t exist even when you have been a loyal member for years.

Went there with a guest pass. “Mo” said he will not recognize the guest pass because “it’s the weekend” (no where in the guest pass policy does it say that the pass is only for the weekdays which I provided to Mo.) Mo did not provide any written policy, and just kept repeating that “he agrees” like a broken record in response to everything I said. I said, how can I trust that some unwritten policy won’t over rule the written contract I sign if I become a member? He just said that “he agreed” and implied that they will lie in their contract as well. I told Mo that if I drove all the way there to be denied service based on an unwritten rule then I will never come back and will never become a member. Mo did not care whatsoever and just sarcastically told me to drive safe when I leave. Ironically there was another guy there in the same exact situation as me… Mo managed to literally lose 2 members simultaneously. If there’s one thing Mo is good at, it’s convincing people to join any other gym besides 24 hour fitness. Congratulations.

I signed up for a free 3 day pass and received a call from representative asking me when I was able to come to the free trial. I was eager to sign up and dressed to begin my work out when I was told that unless I live in Plantation ( and it must state this on my driver’s license) I would not be able to attend because of the district manager rules, not only that, even If I lived in Plantation, it was only a 1 day trial not 3 days. What a joke! Very misleading and how embarrassing of me to be dressed up to work out and feel out the gym, to be shot down immediately. I ONLY gave 2 stars because the Gentleman Raheim was Very Nice and apologetic, as I understand he has to follow company rules and he gave me a thorough tour and information regarding the membership. Honestly I don't think the Sunrise location would’ve told me I cant do a trial period as I got information from them initially. I left there and went straight to LA fitness and signed up. Much cheaper for pretty much the same thing. Again this isnt an attack on the young man doing his job, just stop misleading your prospective clients. You just lost one!

This place is gross. I just canceled my membership. Trash everywhere, as in sweaty paper towels all over the place. The members don't rerack weights and will move them to the other side of the gym a d not put them back. Have fun looking for stuff half the time your there. The only staff member, that's right only, just sits at the front desk. I've e er seen an employee among the .embers. ohh and on Friday someone painted the mens roo. Brown and no one cleaned yp for at least 3 hours. Yeah.

Joined this gym back in Feb 2018. In typical me fashion, I went for a month and fell off the wagon. Still continued to pay for membership for the next year and decided not to renew because we moved out of the area in Feb 2019. Now 3.5 years later they're trying to tell me that I owe them money??? I seriously thought it was a scam! Come to find out they've filed for bankruptcy and are clearly scrambling to get people to give them money. DONT NOT USE THIS PLACE!

The gym has alot to offer but honestly they need better more attentive staff. Everytime I go there nobody is at the front desk, the trainer who I kept telling that I wasn't interested in training with him still kept asking me the same question after I told him no. He still tried to get me to sign up for lessons with him even though I told him no like a thousand times. Customer service needs alot of improvement. Not the cleanest gym either, always looking dirty.
