This gym is so disgustingly dirty. I’ve been coming to this gym on and off since before Covid and honestly it’s dirtier now. The cleaner they give to clean the machines is literally water. The stairs looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months with dust balls on each step. The bathroom looked like it wasn’t touched in a week. The sauna seats are broken and are being held together by ply wood. Tbh the whole building needs to be torn down and re built. Not worth the money especially with all the new gyms popping up. But they aren’t even trying to compete considering they clean nothing.

The last review posted is very similar to my own experience. I have been a loyal member for 18years!! I try to enjoy the Sauna or steam room for a few moments post wk-out and follow the rules of rinsing off beforehand and not wearing shoes (Spa rules 101 anywhere). I have filed a corporate complaint and spoken to the front desk attendants, the manager Preston and the GM Evan multiple times to no avail. Every time I try to enjoy the sauna or steam room one or multiple person enter wearing sweaty gym clothes and dirty sneakers. This happened this morning and I politely aske da male patron to please obey the posted rules of not wearing shoes in the steam room- he literally stepped on the step/ seats with his shoes a foot from my face. I went to the front to speak with Leo and he pouted that I was bothering hi and ripping water on the lobby floor. He begrudgingly went back to check. Leo informed one of two persons in the sauna w/ shoes. One patron did leave and the other refused to and Leo did not do anything form there. I told Leo that the other patron was in the steam room w/ shoes however, Leo said he could not see him and refused to open the door to do a physical inspection. Management and staff clearly give no regard to persons who try to quietly resolve discourteous behavior so...after 6 months of trying to do it the quiet way...people can now see and read for themselves that staff only want to put up signs but not be bothered with a clean and respectful environment for members.

This gym is a dump, which is disappointing because it has the potential to be a really good gym. Unfortunately most of the equipment is old and poorly maintained, and the gym is usually pretty dirty. If you’re not picky about gyms this one may be fine for you, and it’s cheap. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for any serious lifters.

I have been a member here for over 20 years and multiple owners. It has been a on downward spiral for many years, PRIOR to Covid. Today, of the seven stair masters on the floor, five are broken with signs saying they are out of service. The towel dispensers are often empty and the cleaning solution spray bottles are frequently absent or empty. The restrooms are often without toilet paper or paper towels and in need of cleaning. I have attempted to call corporate many times and have brought these issues to the attention of the management. They always say “I’ll look into it” and nothing changes. The only positive, and the only reason I keep my membership, are the classes led by Michele. She is a gem. LA fitness is around the corner and a much better option. June 14,2022 update: well over a month and four of seven stair masters are still “out of service.”

We joined the Plantation location. The guy at the front desk Travis was very friendly, positive and caring. We were pleased with the service he provided and explained the rules. We are happy to be back. The facilities are clean. All other staff are friendly and smiling. It's great to have people around who are caring and make you feel good. Especially during this time.

My family and I had a really beautiful experience and tour with Stuart. As I visited two competitors and was offered multiple signing bonus the overall experience and high level overview that Stuart provided to me was the topper. As a consumer it’s important to be when shopping, investing in goods and services or seeking guidance from business outlet’s that I identify diversity and high level customer care and support in any establishment. Stuart was truly professional, kind, warm and made me feel as though all my Wellness Goal’s were right within my reach at 24 hour fitness. It’s because of his professionalism and interaction with my family why I made this the last tour and became an 24 Hour Fitness Member! Thank you so very much Stuart.

I've been a member of this gym since before the pandemic, which is before 24 Hour Fitness filed bankruptcy. In terms of cleanliness (which should be important) he gym has gone way down hill. It looks like they rarely, if ever, clean the floors. I've seen the same band-aid and bolts from the equipment laying on the floors for weeks. Workout chalk all over the floors, Dumbbells are difficult to find because they are never where they should be but instead all over the gym on the floor. The place is disgusting. All the while you see the employees sitting at the front desk playing with their phones. Go figure! There's better gyms out there.

Was looking into switching from LA to 24 hour fitness because of the hours but after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures of this place… I better not. The pictures from other guests say it all. The place looks super dirty. You can tell they don’t deep clean. And the reviews also said the machines are outdated and most not working. It’s a shame I really wanted to try this place but I’m not going to risk it. The owners/management should really fix up this place.

No clue how this place gets high reviews unless they have friends and family posting. This place is a dump. Half the cardio machines don't work. Most of the equipment is very old and worn. Since the bankruptcy, they have put nothing into this club. I have complained and the GM blew smoke up my a$$ as usual. Yes it is cheaper than LA Fitness, but if money is the issue, Planet Fitness is not that far away. We are going shopping for new gym next week, I have given them too many opportunities to make this right. BTW the bathrooms are disgusting and when you have fixtures with bags over them for three months it's a pretty good sign you have cash flow issues. If they do not get bought out they will be out of business.

This is the worst gym I've ever seen. It's like a time capsule all the machines are old as hell from 2004 when 24 hour fitness first opened in Coral Springs. Only difference is its dirty as hell. There is "not working" signs on at least 10 machines. The weight section is a joke. Crammed and lacking the most basic machines. The bench presses are almost on touching. This is a hazard. I remember going to that cheap youfit gym for $10 a month that was 100x better than this. The 24 hour fitness on Oakland was the only one worth the money it was amazing. Don't waste your money on this place. If you have drive longer then do it. It's a complete waste.
