24hr in Pleasanton has upgraded their gym w a turf area that lets gymrats do more functional exercises, lunges, powersled etc. The gym is relatively clean and they keep their equipment reasonably fixed and up to date. Theyve also added a section for Olympic style lifting, cleans, deadlifts etc.

Old equipment, lots of problems with plumbing (shower gets too hot when someone flushes...), constantly have equipment that are out of service. Plus it's crowded and parking is a disaster except for mid-day and late evening. Go down 580 to the SuperSport on Kittyhawk in Livermore! And now they leave the doors open so the ash from the Napa and Sonoma fires gets in the air inside the gym. These guys are really, really dumb...

Facilities ain't bad. There's usually plenty of equipment to get your workout in although you might need to modify a tad while waiting for a weight machine or bench. Wish the pool had more lanes. Lot's of great ways to burn some calories here.

Generic commercial gym. As someone (that's weak) that generally only likes to workout for strength, the 4 power racks may or may not be opening during mid day, which can be a bit annoying considering some people hog them for hours on one lift. The main "free weight" area is fairly crowded typically. Haven't really looked into cardio equipment but there seems to be plentiful amount upstairs.I always ride my bike, but the parking lot is also almost always full, so expect to park on the street or wait a bit.

There is always something wrong when I go to this gym.Out of towels, broken equipment that take weeks/months to fix, overflowing or dirty pool, no parking spaces during lunch or after work hours, broken showers, the list goes on...2 stars because it has a lot of ameneties.Would give it 5 stars if they put more effort into maintaining equipment and cleanliness.

Dirty, poorly managed and maintained. Not enough of the Precor elliptical machines that are popular, too many of the ones that no one uses. The parking is a nightmare. The staff isn't unfriendly, but they aren't warm or engaging either. It's not unusual for them to run out of towels. They don't make the best use of the limited space here and the nautilus machines are not grouped in a way that is convenient to use.

Love it! All NEW machines in the last few weeks! Love it! Even on busy days, there is always a machine that is open.Kids club is also my favorite. Unlike the San Ramon facility, they let and even encourage my child to run if she wants. She is not constantly told to sit down and watch TV. They have plenty of different activities and areas for each child's needs.I do wish there was more floor space for stretching or rolling out but I make due.I like the outside area with ropes and tires.

Great gym. The customers are nice, the weight and cardio area are good too. I enjoy all the new machines. My fav. part is the pool, and the racket ball area. Bathrooms are cleaner than San Jose. Kids club staff are awesome. Most of the staff at the front desk could be friendlier.

This is actually a nice place to work out. I have been to several places including sports clubs three to four times more than the price and I still rank this 24 hour fitness within par. To top it off, I love swimming and this place has among the nice pools around including amenities. It is not perfect and can certainly use some cleaning around the men's locker room. However, it is men's locker so I do not know how long it will stay clean in the first place.
