Excellent facility. It is clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. They readily address problems. I don't trust the negative reviews. They complain of an experience that is entirely different from my own. Some are too hostile to believe are honest.

Spacious, clean, friendly, convenient for am workout before work in downtown Portland. Ggreat showers. Able to get ready and go to work/school. Love that it also has swim lanes!

the club has everything you could need or want for any type of workout/training...BUT(!!), the place so dirty I need chorine bath after I leave - every piece of equipment is sticky to the touch.the staff are a bunch of children out of HS.They tell you how affordable the place is and then hit you with 1st month, last month, and sign up fees... AND contract conditions to terminate the agreement.

Doesn't open 24 hour on weekends !!!Some cardio machines have issues.I wasn't comfortable going to swimming pool and whirlpool, they're small and not very clean to me.I don't think membership price is reasonable anymore.

Maintenance and cleaning is not a priority here. A reasonably decent facility marred by a lackadaisical attitude towards keeping clean equipment (especially cardio machines) and a staff devoted only to getting their commissions through personal training sessions and membership contracts. You've got one person working on keeping things clean and then a half dozen trainers just gossiping and scoping out potential clients. Needs a proactive manager to whip facility back into shape.

I _want_ to like this facility; it's the closest to where I live. But...it ranks lowest of the six 24 hours I've been to in the last year, and way, way below other clubs I've visited. Here's why:1) They aren't open all of the hours I want to work out, which is ironic, for being a "24-hour" fitness. They close too early weekend nights.2) 50% of the staff seem to know nothing about the club hours, its services, or customer service in general. (I asked a simple question about group classes - the response was a point -to some sheets in a slot across the room) and a muttered "all the information is there" while he kept reading his texts).3) It is not that clean. - when I was a personal trainer (another club), it was considered an important part of the job to circulate and keep an eye on equipment and locker room cleanliness. It's not filthy, but they could do better. The staff seem un-engaged.

Just to let u know, the '24' doesn't imply that it's open 24/7!

IT IS LIKE A LARGE 5 STAR HOTEL GYM WITH FULL STRENGTH SHOWERS!

Went here on a Tuesday evening needing to pop in for a quick shower. No hot water, no matter which shower I tried. Major fail.

Recently remodeled gym. Cleaner than many 24 hour fitness locations. The pool is only 2 lanes. Staff seems very nice. Life fitness Equipment is about 10 years old but a nice diversity of cardiovascular. Lots of machines from cyber, free motion (cables), and free weight machines.
