24 Hour Fitness in downtown Portland offers a varied gym experience with numerous amenities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and a variety of machines and weights. The gym is well connected to public transport, and street parking is available, though not free. It's known for friendly and helpful staff, although mixed reviews highlight some inconsistency in customer service and cleanliness.
While the gym offers a good range of equipment and is generally not overcrowded, many users have noted issues such as poor air conditioning, cleanliness, and maintenance of facilities. This location continually has problems opening on time at the hours they post. On 3/13 I went at 5:00 am, but left when no one showed to open. I understand no one showed up to open it till after 7. Today, an employee came to open, but there was no key for them to get in. Beginning to think getting a membership here was a waste of money.

***For all those checking to see if the gym is open, it seems to be closed still***The downtown Portland 24 hour fitness is a good gym with plenty of machines for all your lifting needs. With that said their hours of operation are very restrictive for a gym in the heart of Portland.Their handling of this snow has been disastrous, I understand and respect that the gym needs to be closed as the ice and snow are safety issues, but the way they don’t answer their phone line or even leave a voicemail letting us know that they are still closed leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I shouldn’t have to check google reviews constantly hopping that someone has an update because you all have not sent out any emails nor answer any calls. Please be better.

This is one of the smallest and also cleanest of the Portland area 24 hours. It'd more downtown judges and lawyers and less influencers. Least traffic of any gym I've been too. My favorite to work out at for that reason. Machines and weights are almost always available. Main CON is no free parking. Only $2/hour but it adds up if you come often.

Absolutely a great place to workout. There could be more attachments for the cable machine.
