Just joined, place seems great, has tons of equipment.. only reason it isn't 5 stars is the misleading advetisements, it will cost more than 10 a month.. hidden joining fee!... ever try to quit a gym? It is impossible, so I cancelled the bank card... gyms are k8nda useless tho, cinder blocks are cheaper.. some places will pay you to move them!

Although this Planet Fitness is not in the best area, I have never had an issue of any kind. I always find parking and go in and do my workout without an issue even in the very early morning or late evening. The people that work here are pretty friendly and it seems to be a pretty clean facility.

They do not keep equipment clean, the staff is not helpful you stand and wait for somone to open the tanning beds or any of the black card equipment.

Well worth the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean, organized, and we'll maintained. The price is unbeatable.

Staff is friendly and the place is super clean. Pretty good machines also. I just wish they had heavier weights and barbells.

I work out there at least three times a week. Decent free weights but don't expect a lifting gym.Very clean facility!

When I heard of the special for March I called the planet fitness Victory Blvd in Portsmouth Va was given an abundance of information including the annual fee do and don't. The young lady was very kind and knowledgeable. Sorry I can't remember her name. But I thank her for being so helpful. When I went in on Monday to sign up things were different. I provided my checking account information but they need credit card as well. Sorry but that was not what I expected. Why need credit card when you are doing a monthly draft. The IPad I used to sign in with froze up. The guy had to type everything in the computer. Not very comfortable with that move. Hope everything was erased. After the process. He gave me my swipe tag and said ok you can enjoy women locker room on the right. No tour, no anything. I thought you were suppose to get a tour. Customer service not at highest. So I was not happy left to do my own tour. I was very not happy with him so I left, will return this week and ASK for a tour of the facility. SMH. Did not even offer any assistance. If it was not for the young lady on the phone, I would have been clueless of much information. I did have questions but Questions I asked should been disclosed without asking. I feel the staff need more training on assisting customers I feel this was very poor business and customer service. I hope things get better as I start my membership.
