I love this Gym its always clean its never packed I really like all the trainers, because they are not pushy when it comes to your needs, and they make it all about you. I have started a weight loss journey and its been amazing and it would not be for hard work and dedication and my trainer Mark.

I love this gym but everytime I have an issue I cannot get anyone to answer the phone! It’s a Wednesday outside of peak hours and no one is available??I entered a contract without an annual fee, I had over 50 dollars charged from my account without notification this month. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with communication, I was literally entered into the wrong contract when I joined and didn’t find out till I saw I was getting charged the wrong amount. And I ended up settling without resolution.

Visited this gym for its convenient location and was very pleased. A manager by the name of Mike showed me around and was super informative. The staff were friendly and everything was clean and well maintained. Look forward to getting healthy here!

I've been at Gold's for a little over a year now training with Stacie! He's always been awesome listening to what I needed and working around some of the medical issues I have that make certain exercises more difficult. His approach to training made it feel like I was working out with a friend and made going to the gym a fun experience.Since he was fired, I don' t have plans to return to Gold's for training and will find another gym.

So they are leaving the pools closed after the pandemic because people didn’t use it that much. I USED it in between workouts to rest my foot but to still get some type of workout. I have pins and screws and I can only work out every two days because my foot can not take it. So in between my workouts I would use the pool! I am very upset they will not be reopening them because “no one” used them ad what I’m being told. Funny thing is I always saw people swimming I. The pools for workout so that is not accurate! The pool is ALREADY there so just fill it back up!!!!! NOT cool. Golds gym better watch out there’s other places better now!!! This is horrible for older people or people with injuries who want to still be mobile. Shame on you Golds Gym!!!!

I wouldn't normally write a review for a gym, but I needed to cancel a portion of my gym membership. In the past, this has been a headache with other gyms, but Michael the manager addressed my inquiry the next business day and fulfilled my request without making me jump through hoops. Bravo.

Was going to sign up for a day pass filled the kiosk out then decided not to proceed with it. 3 months later I noticed membership charges. Spoke with Vanessa and we decided it was fraudulent due to inaccurate information on the acct and she said she’d take care of it. Months later I receive a collections notice. I’ve worked at golds and I know how this goes especially with corporate it’s a constant loop and I knew I wouldn’t get help. Of course that’s what happened. Spoke with a manger today and apparently now my information is some how correct on the account. I know for a fact I didn’t buy a membership if I knew I did I would have used it. I know how the sign up goes given that I’ve worked with the company. It’s not making sense but I gotta pay it?

I originally cancelled my membership back in October, yet I kept getting charged until I noticed. I went in this month to cancel not remembering if I had done so in the past, while there Vanessa asked if I had came in to cancel before so that I could get a refund but I told her not to worry about a refund since I had no record saying I cancelled on me did nor did I remember. Anyways the membership got cancelled quickly. I want to thank Vanessa for taking the extra time to check if there was a notice of cancellation in the past after me leaving that day, even without me requesting that someone find out and give me a refund, she called me a week after to notify me that she found that I originally cancelled in October and that I’d be fully refunded for the extra months charged. I give Vanessa 5 Stars!!! But for the place as a whole I do not, I can’t fathom the lack of care for my money in regard to the staff that took care of my original cancellation since they did not make sure I was no longer getting charged even after they made a record of cancellation, absurd. Anyways, the gym itself is nice but no longer fits my needs. Once again, Thank You Vanessa for your care, you did not have to, but I appreciate you taking the time to be extra conscientious, the World could use some more folks like you!!

I join other reviewers here as well as the Golds FIT Richardson Community in our shock, sadness, disappointment and immoral behavior in Gold’s Management for the SUDDEN Termination of two key employees – Stacie and Vanessa. I have been member at this Gold’s Gym for 4 years and a loyal Gold’s FIT participate with Stacie, as our coach, being an integral part of FIT classes. He is an excellent trainer/coach making sure you have proper form, proper weight and always concerned to find alternatives if you have an injury. He cares about our fitness journey and you feel his devotion at every class. For a Gym that is struggling, with Gold’s Fit being the most participated classes, why would you suddenly terminate a long term coach (6 years with Gold’s) that your members were depended on for their fitness journey. For all the FIT classes they NOW have only one coach qualified to teach Gold’s Fit.Vanessa was with the Company for 4 years as a Personal Trainer, FIT Coach and worked her way up to a management position - Member Experience Manager. She was the heart and soul of the gym and also the face of the gym. Every member knows her and saw her dedication to making our Gym experience better. She organized events, got our feedback and encouraged us everyday in our fitness journey. She worked so hard and so many hours but always with a positive attitude and smile on her face.Since the Pandemic, Corporations have been in a desperate search for employees, let alone great employees, so it is beyond me why Gold’s Gym management would terminate these exceptional employees that were an asset to the organization, WITHOUT Notice. Furthermore, as a women executive to see Vanessa in a management role in a male dominated business would seem to be something encouraged and supported by Gold’s Corporation. I hope this gets escalated/investigated behind local management of Michael GM, Danny W, Regional Vice President and Robby G. District Manager. We align ourselves with Organization that we hope have values and treat employees with respect.

After being a loyal Gold's member for about a decade, I expect better. Mike the GM, FIRED my trainer because she had an emergency. I am being passed off to a trainer, a male, who I do not like - he's been rude to me in the past and I haven't even been a client of his.I was told there are no more female trainers and I won't be refunded my sessions I still have - purchased in good faith with MY trainer. When told I would not be purchasing any more sessions, miraculously, there is suddenly a female trainer as an option, albeit one I do not know and one that does not know my history. The only other trainer I would be interested in was also, just fired, for reasons I can only imagine are also futile and with no merit. This Gold's also recently re-upped my year's membership without my consent and without contacting me - just a giant charge on my credit card. Do better Gold's - restore the people who actually run the gym, know their clients, and do their jobs. I expect better. You've gone downhill.
