Gold's Gym Richardson

Joined this gym shortly after moving to Texas almost 2 years ago. I have been a Golds Gym member at different locations for over a decade. I was excited to join this location and I was immediately and warmly welcomed by two great trainers, Vanessa and Stacie. They have helped me reach so many new goals on my fitness journey and have made feel like an important part of the Golds family. Unfortunately due to their recent termination, the culture at the gym has changed. The team members that were most dedicated, available day/night and who truly cared about the members are now gone. It is no longer a family, it is simply just another gym. Also, to see the ONLY woman in a leadership role at this gym removed is quite disappointing - a staff of primarily men-only is so outdated and very reflective of the values shared by upper management.

Best gym in the area! I enjoy working out here, front desk staff is nice and friendly. The gym is clean and has a good-energy vibe. I've been here when they open and after work and get the same consistency. I haven't used one of their trainers yet, but they seem friendly, and say "hello." I feel motivated and part of something fun working-out here. Great place, thumbs up!

This gym is clean and there are many options for working out. The equipment is always in good condition. The staff is for the most part friendly, few staff members are very friendly and welcome you with a smile or a sign however some of their coworkers should learn from them on that aspect.In terms of equipment, I haven't seen improvement since I joined two years ago and I wish the staff would listen more to customers feedback to bring in improvement, this is not always a question of budget even though this is always the given answer.

I went to visit Golds gym because I’m looking for a new home gym. It was a let down. The website is misleading because it said that there was a steam room/sauna and there was no steam room. It also advertised a pool but the pool was inoperable. The gym was clean. There was a sauna in the women’s restroom. The space wasn’t crowded. They had a good amount of equipment & some machines that I’d never seen before however it’s a body builders gym & not my personal preference.

People just don't wipe down machines but i wear full gloves for workouts.

Barely even pretending to follow the Dallas County mask mandate. Some of the trainers and front desk staff don't even wear their masks.

Richardson has new equipment and large gym space!! It has many machines, traditional dumble weight lifting corners too!!
