Gold's Gym Richardson is a spacious gym located in Richardson Plaza. The gym boasts a robust selection of clean, well-maintained equipment and plenty of free weights. Members appreciate the friendliness of some staff and numerous fitness classes, including body pump, barre, yoga, and Gold's Fit. However, due to recent management changes and frequent staff turnovers, some members feel the community vibe has diminished.
The gym offers amenities such as a pool (currently closed), saunas, and child care services, making it ideal for families. Great people and machinery. They've got everything you could want. Lost 65 lbs since I started coming here. Thanks for the tour, Jordan.

Its a hassle to cancel membership. They are dishonest. Joined on a promotion only for a $1 on a no contract month to month cancel anytime. They switched it trying to charge me for a contract membership. I called they don't answer the phone or you can leave a message. Thank

This place is great! Has just about every equipment you need and the Gold's Fit classes provide that extra push that I need. I have been coming here since November 2020 and I love it.

Great staff! Was in town couple of days and service was top notch. The gym itself is spacious and plenty of equipment to get a great workout in.

This gym is NOT recommending wearing masks. This gym is encouraging members to NOT wear masks. The staff is neither helpful nor knowledgeable. I’ve been a member here for years, but will not any longer.I’m so disappointed.

Please open the pool. Sauna open, but no pool. I need it because it’s one of the few ways I can work out due to surgery. The mask mandate is up and if the sauna is open I can’t imagine why the pool isn’t. Happy the sauna is open as I really need it to cleanse my body, but please open the pool.

I love this gym. The equipment is new and everything is clean. The locker room is nice as well I liked that there was large lockers I can store my backpack in and a hanger for my jacket.

This is not a true Golds. It’s a rebranded Bally’s. They don’t even have typical golds equipment (Hammer Stength, Cybex, Free Motion). They have a lot of Hoist equipment, which in my opinion is some of the worst equipment in the industry. They have some Hammer Strength equipment but not enough to make the gym feel like an actual Golds. Golds used to be a staple in Dallas and they had locations everywhere. It’s sad to see real “Gyms” like Golds closing down and being replaced by “Fitness Centers”

Good gym, reasonable hours and pricing, no complaints about the gym itself. However, I do strongly believe that one of the staff stole a weight belt I had lost there. So for that, they get a star knocked off.

My bf & I signed up with Gold's Gym when they were doing the $1 enrollment. The gym started getting really busy and crowded at even 5 am - so we decided to cancel our membership and move to another gym. We cancelled our memberships in April, it is now almost June and Gold's keeps charging my s/o a monthly fee when we've already EMAILED AND CALLED stating that we are cancelling. The manager with the name of Michael Roberts is incompetent and should not be in charge of cancellations as he didn't cancel my s/o's membership when we stated we wanted to cancel. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They give you the runaround every time you call and state that Michael is busy and will get back to us. It's almost June and he has not gotten back to us and we are still getting charged. Do not get a membership here. You're better off going somewhere else.
