My four boys have attended Shorei Ryu for about two years now. They have learned so much from the sensei team and enjoy being part of the community. The owners truly care for students and strive to help students become well-rounded individual.

Have had our kids here for a year and a half. Haven't regretted a day, to the point that I joined, myself. This dojo takes people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities. They provide encouragement, motivation, and even a few laughs. Family run, good value!

My 10 yr old has been coming here for a year now. We love all of the Senseis. They are a special group of people dedicated to the children and work in education themselves.I am so grateful for them. My son has surprised me with how much he has learned and grown as a person in the time he has been learning karate. He has become more disciplined with his school work and responsibilities at home and so much more. I’m so proud of him! I’m excited to see him learn and grow even more. I would definitely recommend Shorei Ryu.

This studio is absolutely amazing! We have been attending this studio since 2019 and our kids have all learned great skills and discipline. I highly recommend this school for its traditional teachings and discipline. Their new studio in Illinois no doubt has the same message and structure and I wouldn’t think of taking my family anywhere else.

Our 2 boys ages 5 & 7 have been at this Dojo now for a little over a year. We started as soon as the pandemic was allowing businesses to reopen. It was something we were trying to get the boys out of the house to be able to do. They have always followed all rules and kept the facility very clean. Sempai Mike & Sempai Emily have been our boys instructors and they have been amazing. We have even been able to participate in 1 tournament and we had the best time! The prices are very reasonable and times work out well with our schedules. Kim Jin and Kai Jin and Sensei Dwight are all great to work with as well! I would definitely say overall one amazing Dojo! Love the teaching style as well!
