Gold's Gym Austin Hester's Crossing

This was unexpectedly the nicest Golds Gym I’ve been to. It’s tucked away in the corner of a shopping center and you’d never expect it to have a basketball court too.Very clean + many amenities at this location!

One of the best Gold's gym environments. People don't sit and talk and take up room. Respectful and good gym etiquette. Not too many broken machines for too long like most Golds

Get record of cancellation in hand, and expect to fight it out with corporate. Gold gym is guilty of theft and if anyone is interested in class action suit, let’s get organized!

I am never ever the one to leave bad reviews but this gym is awful, you can’t workout in peace, personal trainers are rude interrupting your workout. If you have an exercise where you need to take your shoes off for flat feet you gotta go find another gym because apparently it’s not aloud.

The first week, no issues; Enjoyed the layout and good vibes. Unfortunately, the GM there , Ofibio Vilareya, decided it was okay to increase the volume of the overhead music one afternoon. It was so loud I could hear it through my headset. I approached him and asked if they could turn it down. He responded with a very curt and dry answer: "That's the lowest it goes."Which of course is not true. Anyone that has ever had an audio system knows there is always a way to regulate the volume. This was not a courteous or professional way to respond to a paying customer.This is one of those cases where the Manager thinks they own the place and their ego is too big to have a meaningful conversation or to maybe compromise a bit. I'm sure he will respond by saying there is a set level they leave it ..blah blah..at but the truth is he lost a customer for being rude and defensive when all he had to do is say, "let me see what I can do." It's too bad because his one critical job there is customer experience and he flat-out failed at that. I immediately asked for a cancellation form. This is not the person you want at the head of your gym.

Good clean gym with friendly staff. This location has everything you need for a good push, pull, and/or leg day, plus the available hours are the longest of all of the Golds in left in the Austin market.

I recently signed up for Gold's Gym and overall I am satisfied with the facilities and equipment. However, I am disappointed to report that their Wi-Fi has not been working properly for over a month now. As someone who likes to listen to music or watch videos while working out, this has been a major inconvenience. It's frustrating to constantly lose connection and not be able to access the internet. I hope the gym will address this issue soon. If you are someone who values having reliable Wi-Fi while working out, I would suggest being aware of this issue before signing up. Overall, I would give Gold's Gym a 3.5 star review due to this ongoing problem.If not address, canceling membership.UPDATE:02/23/23One day later after the review above the internet works perfect. No needed to adjust any settings on my phone. Would give the give a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ review now. Thanks for taking care of the matter in a quick matter.

Yesterday I was there for membership and disappointed sauna closed, hot top closed, pool closed, plus not much class, shower and restroom area was as a freezer. What would be point to pay membership $30 since not much provision.

Great! Professional friendly staff&instructors.Very clean gym.Impossible to find parking between 4pm-7pm m-f.

Wifi is broken (yes I did the capture page login) and their music is waaaaaay too loud. First off we come here to get healthy and hearing damage isn’t healthy! 2nd if I can still hear their music over noise cancelling headphones turned up to a “dangerous volume” according to apple? Then that’s too loud! Plus music taste is so persona, I bet exactly no one prefers the songs they play 😆😆😆Recommendation, get someone with an Apple Watch to walk around and ensure the noise app shows less than 70db consistently
