Do not recommend. I joined Georgetown Gold's in the Spring of 2020 due to convenient location. All gyms were closed due to Covid and they halted charges. Then they permanently closed the gym that I was a member at and "transferred' my member ship to a gym that is an hour round trip away from the one I joined. Now they won't allow me to cancel my membership without paying them $80-ish dollars. Thats shady business.

It's a good gym with alot of equipment, but customer service is terrible. I find out my membership was being used by another person without my knowledge I had no idea so I deicded to change my barcode. I contacted this location and was put on hold for 20 minutes. AFTER, The lady at the desk said "I cant find your account" and hung up. I had to call so many other locations just to get good customer service and finally do their job and help me change my barcode. You can't cancel or hold your account on call so you actually have to go in person. On top of that, only the managers are able to do such actions but they're never there.

Avoid! Wifi barely works and with a metal ceiling cell service is Barely existent. Pool and hot tub are shut down for over a year. There is nothing special about this gym. Locker rooms clean only half the time. I don’t think it’s managements fault (although they don’t seem to care much) it seems more of a corporate issue. Save the money and go to planet fitness. It’s literally the same thing with different paint at 1/3 the price.

This location and the local staff are fine, but I cannot recommend any Gold's Gym due to their policies and customer service and the way they have handled the covid situation with their members. I'm not interested in going to the gym during a pandemic and I've been trying to re-freeze/cancel my membership since August 2020 (I thought I had resolved it in March) and they just keep coming up with one excuse after another while letting my monthly membership fees accumulate. Whatever you do - avoid any sort of contract with them.

My favorite Gold’s. It has the Hoist machines I like, lap pool, hot tub, competent staff, clean and dry locker room, likable regulars who are committed to a healthier lifestyle.

The gym is always hot. Not sure if they even have an air conditioner. They say they keep it at 70 degrees but it feels more like 90.

This gym is perfect for every one who has the time to get the stress out of the day and have time to get in a better mood to take care of themselves. I am really excited 😆 about this gym. I give it 10 stars ⭐️ …

Love this gym. Clean, not too busy, nice equipment, friendly staff. But charge a monthly fee for towels? Whats that all about?

Very welcoming! Everyone keeps their own distance. Everyone wipes and sanitizes the equipment they've touched. I'm a woman and I don't get weird looks from other people!

I have tried to cancel the account several times with Gold's Gym. First, they said I had to come to the gym for that to happen eventhough I am 75 miles away. Second, they said I had to speak to a manager to cancel but one is never available. Third, they said I had to send an email requesting a cancellation. Still 2 months later they still taking money from my account. Finally I had to go to the bank to put a stop payment against them.
