Facility and equipment are both a little dated. Not too bad but it's noticable if you look. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool, sauna and plenty of room to spread out.

When I signed up for the gym I wasn't informed of a $49.99 annual fee. After my Fall semester started, I went to the gym to cancel my membership since my university has its own gym on campus and the rep at the counter assure me that my membership had been terminated. A month later, I was charged with a monthly fee AND a annual fee and 24 Hour Fitness refused to give me a refund saying all shorts of excuses.Their business practice is foul. If you are to cancel your membership, demand the rep to show it to you on the screen before walking out. The amount of money doesn't mean much to me but their lack of accountability sickens me.

Fast-paced, friendly, fully equipped gym. Staff is knowledgeable & welcoming - especially "Kelli" who greeted us, gave us a quick tour with introductions to other staff members along the way & answered our questions. Definitely recommend this gym!

Local health club open 24 hours daily, 7 days a week. Showers. Olympic sized swimming pool, hot jacuzzi, dry & humid saunas. Lockers that use locks & preset locks on lockers for those without locks. Women's showers have glass doors, men's has curtains. Handicapped showers as well. Scale in bathroom. Free standing bicycles, treadmills, steppers, lie back bicycles, lots of exercise equipment and free weights.

If you read reviews about this specific 24 Hour location you'll notice a recurring theme...THIS GYM IS RAUNCHY. It's a great location, decent size, not too crowded but the place is falling apart. I've been a member of this place since 2009 and I'm still using the same cardio equipment from back then. That should tell you something. As a 'regular', I know which treadmills and stair climbers to avoid because I know they have issues. Issues which simply do not get addressed. Many machines will throw out error codes or simply freeze up. Management at this place simply does not care about upkeep and appearance of the facility. Everything is dated and in desperate need of replacement but they are trying to squeeze out every possible penny from their investment back in 1987.The men's bathroom/locker room is disgusting. I'd hope the women's facilities are in better shape. The floors look gross. I don't think this place has ever had a deep cleaning which it needs. They just seem to drag around the same wet, dirty mop once a day.Ventilation/HVAC system seems to be undersized as well. It always feels damp with the smell of stagnant body odor floating around that never seems to go away. It punches you right in the face as soon as you walk in the doors. Overall, I would avoid this place if you can. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. After 7 years I have finally gotten fed up with the conditions and have started to shop around for a new gym.

Depending on when you go, the wait for equipment is either short or non-existent. It's helpful there are 3 squat racks and 4 or more flat bench press. All the equipment is quite old and used but things are in working order. The free weight dumbbell area is definitely on the smaller side. The air ventalization in the men's locker room is absolutely horrible which makes it seem like you're walking into a sauna. It's the last thing you want after a sweaty workout. The employees all seem personable and friendly. They greet me by name when I check in. I will say that the majority of the personal trainers I've observed lack experience, don't particularly tailor the training to the client, and complain about their job and clients when talking amoungst each other. Not professional. Overall the monthly rate is competitive and is reasonable for what's provided.

This gym is small but has everything you need to get a work out in. Seems well kept and clean, I wish they would have paper towels and sprays to wipe down the machines after though. I like the fact that they have kettle bells and a battle rope.P.S. watch out for the turkeys in the parking lot!

I had attempted to sign my roommate up for a membership at a different 24 hour location which was a frustrating and difficult experience and we left with no membership. So we went to this one today. The awesome chick that works here (Jenny) was amazing! She was super knowledgeable and made it hella easy to get him signed up. It's a smaller gym, but everyone (even the people that workout here) are super friendly! Going to be coming here from now on for sure!

This place is like being in a time warp stuck in the 80s.Let's start with the positive aspects about this 24 Hour Fitness in that it does offer convenient freeway access, staff members are exceptionally helpful and friendly, bathroom changing area was reasonably clean, and all the equipment I used worked properly although much of it needed updating as does the whole gym. The facility itself is in desperate need of a makeover. The faded 80s color scheme caused me to pause to listen if I would hear Olivia Newton John 's "Physical" playing over the speakers. The gym is small, crowded, low ceilings, and smelled like a dirty laundry hamper. Walk into the wet area where there is a swimming pool and you will be asphyxiated with gaseous chlorine. The ventilation system seemed to be overtaxed in keeping the air fresh in both the pool and gym areas. Not an enjoyable experience. I will look for a different 24 Hour Fitness location next time I am in Sacramento.
