Best gym in Salem. Super clean, the staff are helpful, no nonsense, everyone is there to get a workout done, customers clean their machine when they're done.They have the extras if you want to pay for them, smoothie bar, hydro massage table, roller massage chairs, foam roller, it's like a VIP area.

They make up rules as they go. Ex. Kicking someone out of the gym who just got there because they have an hour workout policy??! 1- if you pay for a place you’re entitled to use the services however long you want. 2- they can look and tell if you’ve been in already. They also close at random hours on holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas I understand but come on seriously just about every holiday they close early. They also hire people who are rude and make fun of people with disabilities. Overall poor customer service. Also false advertising, they have a sign for $10/ month with no mention of contract but yet actually charge $15/month.

I recently bought a membership here. The facilities are nice and once the COVID restrictions are lifted having access to all the services will be great. I also love that they have figured out how to stay open. The reason for the 3 stars was the lack of transparency when signing the membership documents and there was so much information coming at me, it would have been nice to see it all instead of signing on an electronic signature pad and not actually being able to read the fine print. I know that if I had been able to see what I was signing, I would not have signed up for the most expensive membership because I will not use what is included in that, nor had I planned on having personal training for 12 months (I probably would have asked more questions like if I could have had it for 3 or 6 months).

I too am disappointed in their customer service during a pandemic. Kept asking that they cancel my membership but instead they placed it on a freeze. This has gone on for 9 months. I made a final request to cancel and was told I needed to provide 30 day notice and was charged $10. I haven't used the gym for 9 months. Had thoughts of returning in the future but not now. Disappointed in the attempt to shamelessly grab $. I paid the annual fee to help a small business during the pandemic, eventhough I had no plan to use the gym this year. Now sorry I did so. I'll never return to ⁵this place of business due to what I consider unethical and immoral business practices during a pandemic. Not about the $.

Had a membership here & when the gym(s) closed due to government order from the pandemic, I had asked to cancel my membership & was told this would be this would taken care of - instead, they froze my account - not cancel it. I was notified about a year later, well after I had moved to a new city & had not shown up to the gym since my request for cancellation, they sent my account towards collections with a bill over $95 that I had no idea about. The gym themselves never even attempted contacting me, Just sent this to a separate agency. Although I enjoyed using the gym, the fact I was never told my account reopened due to them just temporarily freezing it from covid & then never telling me about it being reopened, even though I wanted to end my membership entirely is frustrating.

Great gym, super friendly staff and well kept. I’ve been a member for years now and all through the pandemic they worked hard to stay safe but stay open. Great amount of classes if you want that and trainers are available.

The South Salem location is amazing. Extremely friendly staff, which was huge for me stepping into a gym again for the first time in 9 years. I felt zero judgement or pressure, the equipment is amazing and everything is pristinely clean. Don't even get me started on the amenities. The membership price for what you get is honestly astoundingly great.I HIGHLY recommend this gym to everyone, whether you live at the gym or are a beginner, this is the place.

Physiq fitness is perfect in every way. Besides a great club they have gone out of the way to protect their members.

Very disappointed in this gym. The employees repeatedly misinformed both my wife and I regarding our accounts and payment. My decision to leave was made when they unfroze my account a month before it should have been, then not only deducted my monthly membership fee, but the entire upcoming years maintenance fees, when they knew I wouldn't be returning (I'm immune compromised and was not able to). I explained to them that I have a family and lost my job due to covid, but they didn't seem to care. I won't be returning, and advise anyone to carefully think about joining Physiq.

I've had a premium membership for about 2 weeks and I love it. There was some co fusion however what the premium membership included which was a bummer, but that was more my fault than anything else for not reading the fine print. Staff is friendly and helpful and I enjoy coming here to work out.
