Place feels good. Parking is rough but I try to bike there.Ironically Last Real Gym sold out and became a bar....like Northpark needs more of those.Thankful for the 18month special- couldn't beat that 💯

General Manager has my respect for his levelheaded and actual business acumen. Owner lacks both those qualities and should have a bit more pride of ownership.

Went in with a $15 day-pass to check it out. Came back the next day and became a member. $22/month; can’t beat that price for what is offered. Lots of machines, free weights, cables and accessory equipment.Switching from Stern’s ($28/month for weird vibes and equipment from the 1800s), BLVD Fitness has way more space, room, and equipment to do what you need do. Very thankful for the price point and quality. My ONLY negative first impression was I wish there was a bit more room somewhere for another deck for OLY lifts/a few more barbells to go along with them, but I understand OLY lifting is not a major concern for the typical gym-goer these days.Thank you guys for keeping it real with the pricing. All around good vibes from the front desk and the other members. 🤙🏽💪🏽

Went to San diego for 1st time in my life. Trained at Boulevard fitness and loved everything about it. It was old school with new vibes. Equipment was awesome and such a clean gym. Can't wait to go back to San diego and train at Boulevard fitness. Thank you 👊💪🙏💯💥👍 …

I've been going to this gym for a little over a year and am a big fan. It's large, well-equipped, and has a usable outdoor area with multiple pull-ups bars. The staff is nice and the clientele is cool - beginners, fit, and some super fit women and men training in the same space without any weird intimidation vibes. All the interactions I've had were at minimum polite ("Are you using that?") and sometimes led to interesting, fun conversations. If you're looking for a place that has tons of different group classes, you should look elsewhere, e.g., 24 Hour Fitness. Nothing wrong with that if that's your thing. But if you're looking for a true gym - as opposed to a fitness center - I can't think of a better local option that Boulevard Fitness. Good stuff.

Boulevard fitness is fantastic. Big open space with lots of lighting. All the machines and free weights you want. Numbers stay reasonable. The staff is super friendly. If you’re looking for value in a gym you’ve found it.

Great, locally owned gym in San Diego. The owner is super friendly and greets members by name; he also is constantly upgrading the gym equipment to make sure his member’s needs are met. If you’re in San Diego, you have to come to Boulevard for a workout!

Great basic gym. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Equipment is well maintained and spaced out. I avoid busy hours so I've never had trouble getting what I need done. I also love their clothes and supplements available for purchase.

This place is a great alternative to the last real gym that closed. Best time is the morning if you can handle it cuz it does get a little crowded. People that complain in other reviews are weak Karens. If you have some hair in your chest this is a good place.
