It was all good , until they kept charging my CC when I was told they wouldn’t do it :( .If you cancel membership or want to put a hold , really double check with them and change CC if possible . I don’t trust them any more , it’s a shame I liked this gym .

This place is a great alternative to the last real gym that closed. Best time is the morning if you can handle it cuz it does get a little crowded. People that complain in other reviews are weak Karens. If you have some hair in your chest this is a good place.

Best gym out there. I’ve been training here for the past two year or so and I can honestly say it’s been the most pleasant experience. The owner, Shawn, is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. He truly cares about the clients. If you’re looking for a great neighborhood gym with specialized equipment or looking to delve deep into the fitness world, this is the place to be.

Can't say enough about this gym. A real personal experience from the moment you walk in. You can tell that the staff here really cares about every person that walks in. Staff and other folks I see are happy, and happy to help answer any questions. It was so easy to sign-up too! After passing by the front desk is the cardio equipment. Plenty of options depending on what you're looking to get into.Up the stairs and into the gym itself, it's open bay doors and high ceilings, with fresh air circulating throughout. Equipment of all kinds for each individuals goals. Well spaced out with plenty of room to walk through. Then up another set of stairs is a section with MMA mats and TRX trainers for all my functional needs. I don't get up there too often, but it's nice to dabble! This was just the place I needed when no one else was open. Just super friendly and lots of options. Thank you guys for all the hard work you have done in all the updates and keeping me healthy both physically and mentally.

I’ve been going to a BLVD now for a few years and always had nothing but warm welcomes and great interactions with the staff. The gym is always clean abs taken care of. Equipment is in good shape and I love that they are bringing in new machines to add to the collection. I can’t say I have never had any complaints about the gym on the contrary they have been very accommodating during a rough patch in my life. We’ll continue going as long as I live in San Diego!

Cheap fees.Perfect place if you're looking for dirty floors and restrooms, outdated and broken equipment, and rude staff. The floors have not been swept or mopped in months. Most of the equipment needs padding replaced. I wouldn't shower in the locker room if my life depended on it. The single water fountain has been broken for weeks. It's also HOT AS HELL in the summer because management doesn't understand the physics behind air flow. Most of the fans are against a wall so they generate no meaningful air flow. There have a few residential ceiling fans in an industrial warehouse space. Again, no meaningful air flow. They also have ZERO enforcement of the indoor mask mandate.See mgmt rude response to my Yelp review in the pics. You’ll see a similar passive-aggressive “good luck on your new fitness journey” on all negative reviews. They clearly don’t care about members. If they had “thousands” of people in the gym every day, they would have plenty of money to make repairs. I’ve been there for 6 months and I’ve never seen any passing repairs. You can inspect the floors for yourself to see the hair balls. The equipment is covered in dust.

I absolutely LOVE this gym! I've been coming to Blvd fitness for about 3 years now. My experience has always been that the staff are friendly, welcoming and even remember my name. They ask how my fitness journey is going and actually care about my health and fitness goals. They have gotten some new equipment too which is always fun! There is a WIDE variety of people who come to this gym which is great to see. It's a very friendly atmosphere and the music is always good & bumping, which I LOVE! I highly recommend this gym to EVERYONE, it not only has the variety of equipment but tons of free weights and group classes. (MMA upstairs and CakeFactory downstairs) Definitely check them out!

The gym has plenty of equipment and a hungry atmosphere. I love working out here but I wish they had boxing equipment.

The new owner is bad to say it mildly. First of all he doesn't acknowledge any complaints about the gym for proof just read his responses to the 1 star reviews. Secondly there seems to be a lack of maintenance on the equipment and in the lockers.

After 6 years at this gym, I’m moving on. It has steadily declined in services and friendliness. Towel service is gone, included classes gone, extra space for walking lunges gone, gym equipment still old, steroid filled toxic trainers ever increasing, staff friendliness nonexistent.
