This has been the BEST decision Ive made for myself since moving back to San Diego this summer. I work at a desk for 12 hours straight, which leaves me tired and stressed at the end of the day. But when I started getting up early to go to the 6am class at Fitness4ward, I’ve experienced an improvement in my energy, mental health, and physical health. No matter how tired i am, the feeling i get after finishing a class here is the BEST feeling of the day for me.The instructors Jon and Josh push you hard, they keep class fun and challenging, and they help you understand proper form. They’re a huge reason why I love coming to this gym.I love the combination of strength training and conditioning we do. I also love the variety of workouts we do. Class is never boring!

So glad I found Fitness4ward, a hidden gem in the San Diego gym scene. The trainers Jon and Josh are actually care about their members and hold us accountable not just to show up but also give 100%I think the diversity of their clientele speaks volumes because they have a wide range of ages and fitness levels and offer accomodations according to where you are at. The community they've created is really awesome, they are friendly and welcoming to all. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a great workout and cool people to workout with.

Amazing trainers at this intimate, strength building gym! John is so supportive and patient, he really strives for your individual improvement and success! And josh always keeps an intense work out like a party so you just power through it! Grateful I worked with them both, my workouts will forever be changed ! ☺️

Hands down best gym in San Diego! Each session is semi private 5-10 people and the coaches make sure you LEARN how to lift properly and educate you which I really appreciate!Also I’ve lost 20 pounds and gained 15 pounds of lean muscle since I started coming to Fitness4ward my mentality about exercising has changed as well. I no longer want to be “skinny” I want to be STRONG!I recommend this place to anyone that wants to improve physically and mentally!

Love this place! Have been to other similar gyms/boot camps/cross fits and Fitness4ward hands down is the best place to become healthy, strong, and fit. Jon takes a personalized approach with his clients. He does quarterly reviews which truly gauges your success. He goes over your nutrition and sets personalized goals. I would highly recommend Fitness4ward to anyone looking to get fit the right way!

Fitness4ward is by far the best gym I have been a member of. It has such a great community of hard-working members who motivate and encourage each other throughout every session. The trainers, Jon and Josh, are so knowledgeable in nutrition, exercise, and all-around mental and physical health. This is not ~just~ a gym. It is a lifestyle!

I was invited to try out Fitness4ward 4 years ago by a former roommate and very good friend after we did a mud run and i noticed she wasn’t tired. I thought i was in decent shape... and i was terribly mistaken. Jon, our trainer continually challenges us with different workouts, techniques and styles of training that are always high intensity while focusing on technique and form over improper movement and weight. With proper form and nutrition my body changed completely and i am now able to do things i never thought my body was capable of (hand stand pushups and pull/chin-ups). When i travel i have confidence in any activity (hiked the tallest mountain in Scandinavia recently on a whim) and i now have new goals and new aspirations ahead of me. The community of the gym is always friendly, driven, focused and sometimes silly but we all push ourselves to be the best version of ourselves we can be. I couldn’t ask for a better place to grow as a person and I look forward to what the future has in store. Hope to see you at 5am where the BEASTS are.
