Croga is awesome!! I went to a Crossfit in Pittsburgh, PA before I moved here to Cali and I quickly noticed that I learned more at Croga in less time than I had learned at my previous Crossfit. I am now able to lift heavier weight because I have proper form and I have really learned what's right and wrong in lifting. Coach Dave is an awesome coach and leader and his wife Kelly (they own Croga) is kind and strong. They make a great team and make you feel very comfortable. All of the coaches are fantastic. And the people who attend classes are some of the nicest, funniest, and hardest working Crossfitters you may ever meet! Definitely, check out Croga. I am so glad I did!

All of the coaches and members at Croga create an environment that can welcome anyone whether you're brand new to CrossFit or a vet. I've only been attending for a month and a half, but I already felt like I was apart of their family within my first week! One thing I feel that makes CrossFit Croga stand out from most other boxes is the time spent at the beginning of each class doing mobility, preparing all muscle groups for the workout, and reviewing all movements of the workout.

Awesome trainers, awesome clients. I am not the fittest person but made to feel welcomed and comfortable. They are great at watching your form and making sure you stay safe.

Really awesome coaches that keep me going as I'm gasping for breathing. The gym is clean and functional and the WODs are scaled masterfully.

My initial worry about Crossfit was being in a large class with little to no personal instruction on the movements but still paying the personal coaching prices. At Croga, the classes are smaller and the coaches are very in tune with their members abilities and spend time each class going over the movements no matter how long you have been doing crossfit. Dave, Kelly and all the coaches are very approachable and if you have questions or just want to talk crossfit they are very good at taking time after the classes to be available.I recommend stopping by and trying this gym out...they offer a FREE into class.

Fitness has a whole new meaning since starting at Croga. I am not only fitter physically, but mentally and emotionally as well! The staff at Croga are amazing! They make sure you have correct form and they make working out so much fun! The people are wonderful...all ages from 15 to 60+! The atmosphere is infectious! Looking forward to more great workouts at Croga!

Croga is one of the few places that I've ever been comfortable with. I've been heavy all my life and every time I get started somewhere I end up quitting because I'm either tired of the ridicule, or feeling judged about how I look when I'm doing exercises, or hearing questions about why I'm even there. I was really nervous about starting Crossfit and kept making the excuse about how I needed to lose weight to start it - then one day, I just sucked it up and emailed Dave. He convinced me that anyone can do Crossfit, and so I showed up to my first class and I loved it. It's still hard for me to stay motivated, even a year later - but when it's been months and I haven't been in and I feel guilty, no matter what members are there, and no matter who's coaching I feel supported. I hadn't shown up for about three months (excuses, excuses), and I was panicking over going back and I was nervous and almost didn't go - but my sister convinced me to go back and all I had to do was make it to the door to understand that I have nothing to worry about. I walked in and it was like I never left. They didn't ask where I had been, comment on how I look bigger, make me feel ashamed for not taking care of myself or eating whatever or what I thought was more important than showing up. The coaches and members at Croga make me feel supported and push me to want to be proud of myself.

Training, working out, lifting weights, running, swimming, etc. I tried it all individually and just couldn't get myself to keep up the interest after a few weeks. CrossFit however has me hooked. The community, the coaches, everyone involved are fantastic and they keep you coming back. There are lots of CrossFit boxes (as they call the gyms) out there, and each have their own way of doing things. Some more individually, some only in class-form, some with very little coaching and some with "over-coaching". However, if you are interested in starting or doing crossfit, I would highly recommend choosing Cróga CrossFit. This box has extremely knowledgeable, friendly coaches as well as a great bunch of people who train there. Simply put, this is a fabulous community that all help and push you in your training! You are not judged on the how much you can lift or how fast you can go, but by the effort you put in. Rest assured, the coaches do their best to get you outperform what you THOUGHT was your limit. They use their knowledge and experience to get you do do the movements properly and efficiently. So, if you take the coaches advice and try and push yourself, your fitness will improve fast! When people finish a workout at the box, instead of leaving, they walk around encouraging other members to finish, which I feel sets this box aside from others as being pure awesome! Everyone there wants each person to improve as best they can. I could not see myself doing CrossFit anywhere other than here! Keep up the good work Cróga!!!

Several years back I was a regular at my gym, working out 4-5 days a week every week. I never went near the barbells or benches, leaving that for the "guys" and sticking with my workout of elliptical, leg machines and dumbbells. After I had my first kid (over 4 years ago), I completely stopped going to the gym. I have been wanting to get back into shape, but didn't have the motivation to do it. My husband had been a member of Croga for almost a year once he finally convinced me to go. Like a lot of women, I was scared off by the thought of it and thought it was something just guys should do. I was wrong!I am now on my 3rd month as a member and really enjoy it. It's great motivation to have a coach training you during your entire work out, and to have a group of people going through the same work out as you. Coach Dave is great at teaching you proper techniques and never pushes you to do something you don't feel comfortable with (I definitely have a few adaptions in place for some of my workouts and that's totally okay). I would definitely recommend Croga to anyone interested in getting a great workout! And they even have a free introductory class - you've got nothing to lose!
