I joined the BJJ classes just thinking that it would be a great opportunity meeting new people and my accomodation in Utah to be made easily, doing some exercises, keeping myself in shape, but it seems that I started counting the hours at work until I get to go to for a new training with the Gracie Barra Sandy family.

My kids started here over a year ago and have loved it. After watching for months, I decided to join also. It is such a family friendly environment with great instructing and amazing people. I only wished I would have joined earlier. Love it!!!

I started training BJJ about 9 months ago at a Gracie Barra gym in Southern CA. I recently moved to the Salt Lake City area, and have been loving coming to this gym! Prof. Duayne is a passionate, caring, and skilled teacher who invests his whole self in his students. As someone who is still relatively new to jiu jitsu, I appreciate his ability to break complex skills down into pieces I can follow, and his continued input in everyone's performance as we learn. The gym is family friendly, welcoming to newcomers and women, and I look forward to becoming part of the community that Duayne and his partner Erin have created.

I have been training at this school for little over a year. The Professor (Duayne) is incredibly nice and he knows a lot on jujitsu. He teaches it better than any other black belt, and if you have questions then he can most likely answer then for you. Everyone here at this place are like the happiest and the most friendliest people I have met. I am looking forward to be doing this for a long time.

I was in the area for work and wanted to try jujitsu. The instructors were friendly and well experienced. Had jujitsu gi's to use for new students and there open every day to accommodate any schedule. If your looking for a place to learn jujitsu I recommend this Gracie Barra Brazilian jujitsu school. I miss 3 things about Utah the gas prices, the mountains and training in jujitsu here.

My issue is that they super wack and tried to run families off at the sandy splash pad. A bit d-baggy

I visited from Gracie Barra Long Beach and had an excellent time here. Professor Duayne is an excellent instructor with patience and passion for jiu jitsu.
