We are doing the 2 week free trial. It isn't really free but discounted. It includes all you need shoes, belay & chalk too. So a little misleading but it is $39 for 2 weeks and that includes 2 free classes that are normally $59 each class. My girls feel confidant in belaying in just one day of training. I do not think we will pay the monthly fee because it is so pricey but $39 for 2 weeks is worth it 👍

We loved Karlie (sp?)! She was wonderful. She did a fantastic job explaining technique and terminology and really helped us feel comfortable with the surroundings. And she made sure to answer all our questions and concerns. 5/5 stars and 2 big thumbs up!

Somehow Momentum manages to remove my reviews.Regardless, I’ll continue to love Momentum, except for the way the team coaches, especially one in particular who’s name starts with a P and rhymes with calmer, conduct themselves and control their teams. I have personally witnessed P-calmer encourage team kids to cut in front of other patrons, and have them do 4x4s on routes that countless others are trying to have fun on. I have even had a swarm of children under team rule bombard me on the fitness deck and all push push me away from the hang board I was STANDING UNDER AND USING. Another time I was stepped on while having a stretch. Neither time did I receive an excuse me or an apology.Wonderful cracks, decent fitness deck, great setting (especially Jakes routes,) and good hours. Just cannot complain enough about the way the youth teams and their leaders behave.Teach etiquette and manners and these feelings that radiate to others than myself, can be rescinded. Will post continuously until my post stop being deleted or the problem is resolved. Whichever is the latter.

I love this place. However, the route setting is not frequent enough. After 3 months all routes should cycle. Otherwise it gets boring and holds are gross. Please change out quicker than four or even five months.

The GM at Sandy doesn't appear to be a good GM. I believe his name is Eric. His customer service skills are poor and all he seems to care about is the bottom line/his bonus/money. He does not care about me as a member of his gym. Also he does not seem to train his employees well. I saw him interact with a customer trying to figure out a course for some younger students and he just seemed money focused and did not want to try to help this group out. I get it, it's a business, but you don't necessarily need to show those business cards to your customers. There is a way to talk to customers and not be money centric. My personal experience with him also was not great. I was told by one of his employees that I could sign up for two - two week trial memberships. I was signed up for the first and when I tried to sign up for the second he was the one "helping me". He said I could not do that. I understood that that was the policy but when I previously asked if that was allowed and told yes, I felt that he should have made an exception. He did not. He did not even apologize. He just said that he would correct his employee. The funny part is that I went back and a friend got a second two week trial and then I decided to do the same. So on top of everything, he must not be training his team on what the policy is. So I just think he is a horrible GM. Mainly because he did not handle those two experiences with good customer service.

We did an introduction to belay and the instruction was great and the support was wonderful! She (I wish I remembered her name because she was terrific, 6p Sandy 10/14) spent time with us to teach and get us to a point of feeling comfortable. What a great way to start to learn and introduction to the facility!

I’m just getting into climbing and momentum is super nice cause I can do all the climbing I want. Quality is great and everyone is super friendly. As someone who also has a vasa membership it is really nice to implement climbing into my workout split so that I can get stronger even faster. I think the only “downside” to that it is a smaller gym and it can get crowded in the evenings. Other than that it’s great!

We had a fun time! It was mine and my husband's first time, so we needed to do the belay course and our instructor was thorough and helpful. It was busy, but there was still plenty of wall space.

Went here for my birthday, at first we were helped by a tough looking employee with a nose ring! He then helped me and my group with my the belay certification and was very kind. He let us climb all the way until closing time! Would recommend coming here!
