Mountain Yoga is an amazing studio! The class offerings are varied and can accommodate a wide range of experience levels. As a beginner, I always felt plenty of support and coaching as I learned new poses. The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable and freely offer their expertise and unique perspectives.I found this studio during the pandemic and it has really helped me stay healthy in so many aspects of life. I will definitely keep my membership here for as long as I live in the area. I can’t imagine somewhere better to practice.

This studio is so special! I have been practicing yoga here for several years now. The environment and energy that Mountain Yoga Sandy studio has is welcoming, authentic, and powerful! The structure of yoga that is taught is consistent with each of the instructors while still having a creative and unique twist that reflects the style of the instructor. I enjoy the variety of different styles of yoga taught here so I can switch up my routine and learn new things about yoga and myself. I enjoy the community that the owner, management, and instructors have thoughtfully created and i’m always so impressed by how often I see each of them regularly practicing in the studio. I have had the opportunity to visit many yoga studios in Salt Lake and Utah County and have found this to be the most motivating, diverse, and loving community of yogi’s and because of that I happily choose to commute 30 minutes each way.

Mountain Yoga is FABULOUS! I have been attending Mountain Yoga Sandy for only a couple of weeks but I am so grateful for this wonderful establishment. I don’t have a lot of experience or flexibility but I have felt so comfortable being my authentic self there. The instructors are wonderful humans! I am loving it and highly recommend it especially if you are nervous about the heat and the intimidation factors, they take you as you are. I see a Foot-zone therapist and she told me that my lymphatics are doing so well and she wanted to know what I had been doing?! The only change, hot yoga! Hope to see you there! ❤️

I have enjoyed the update of classes over time. The additional space(s) they’ve acquired. The additional type of classes. Lots of current up to date classes. Even Zoom classes. I really enjoy doing my practice at my pool in the morning. I don’t like doing yoga with a lot of people, so zoom is awesome!I really enjoy the instructors, they are very professional & they have good sounding voices. I can’t hear very well so, they speak very clear and just loud enough. They give very great instruction too so, you don’t need to look at them constantly if you are a newbie. The $99 month is the way to go. Even if it’s just a couple months you can cancel at any time.

I have been coming to Mountain Yoga Sandy off & on since my dad introduced me to the idea of hot yoga in middle school (so for over 10 years!) - Mountain Yoga is my studio of choice & the one I keep returning back to because of the caliber of classes offered, the loving, kind energy of the staff, and the inclusive environment. During the pandemic they expanded their offerings to virtual & on-demand classes, and I appreciate they still offer these even as things are opening up (attached photo is of me streaming a live class from home) Mats are currently still spaced in-studio which I appreciate to promote social distancing. The workshops offered are a great way to deepen your practice or to gain an understanding of something new as well.

Wonderful welcoming Yoga studio with a dynamic group of teachers and classes. I appreciate that I am able to plan ahead and book classes online so I know there is space for me and the class won’t be crowded.

I really don’t understand how this studio receives nearly 5 stars. I did not appreciate the community as there was not one. I tried to say hi to those participating before and after class. People would just toss around cold shoulders and act as if they were better than you. The teachers are very blan and boring not really engadged, No inspiring words, no assistance in confusing positions, not great at directing vinyasa’s. When I asked for help the teachers were incompetent and unable to answer my questions. The studio was unwelcoming and small.

My sanctuary! I love Mountain Yoga. I love the staff and the environment. Each class is different and each teacher brings his/her own flavor of yoga. Highly recommend!

Initially, I started going to Mountain yoga to get my body back in shape and to help with my chronic back pain. Both I have accomplished successfully. However, this is so much more!! I can’t describe the desire I have every day to get to yoga and the relief it brings to me, not only with my physical self but with My spiritual self.Trust me; you deserve this practice.

My friend DRAGGED me to my first class at Mountain Yoga one year for her birthday. I had no desire to do hot yoga, and couldn't do much of anything! But after class I was amazed at the way I felt and I knew I needed to come back. That was 14 years ago, and I have now developed a relationship with yoga that has enriched my life. The teachers here have grown and progressed over those years, and so have I.My time on the mat in this studio has centered me, strengthened me, and truly blessed my life. I cannot express all the love in my heart for this studio and this community of yogis. If you're looking for a workout, you've found it. If you're looking for even more, then stay with it.
