This vasa is pretty great. They do an awesome job at keeping the equipment clean. A few out of order machines but still plenty to go around. It was nice to see the pool and hot tub being accessible. One thing I wish they had was the massage chair room… that’s always such a great way to wind down after a good workout.

I'm pretty sure they forgot they have a basketball court. Broken backboards and rims that probably haven't been tightened or adjusted in years. Lopsided and worn out basketballs. They just provide copy and paste replies to negative reviews, rather than fixing the issues.

I love VASA’s new look, new equipment! The are keeping the facility clean, with plenty of sanitizer stations around the gym. The jacuzzi has been broken for a week, brrrrr, I hope they will have it repaired tomorrow!

This gym is pretty spacious, with a lot options for almost everyone to cater to whatever is their fitness level or requirements. They have an area for cardio, fitness cinema, spin cycle, raquetball, streching, free weights, weight machines, basketball court, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and many more. The reception area is well organized with friendly and courteous staff. They also offer training instructors for those who need it. They have a small area for vasa merchandises such as shirts, water bottle, etc.). They also have a daycare but this has been closed since the pandemic started (approximately mid-2020). They even have a store by the entrance where you can buy protein powders, protein bars, etc. The area is clean and well maintained. They used to have staff that continously clean the equipments but haven't seen those for a year or so now. The only area that I think is not consistently maintained is the restroom. I think the ventilation is very poor and gets to be a bit stinky especially on rush hours. I really hope the management take note of this and address this issue asap. Parking lot is sufficient. It gets full on rush hours but that's understandable but you won't definitely run out of spot to park your car. Overall, this is a very good gym.

I have been a member since VASA bought this location from Gold's. I love this huge facility. However I have noticed lately that the facility is not kept up like it was when VASA took over. My complaints: Locker room is constantly dirty, doors have been ripped off their hinges and left that way. The place is rarely mopped, same goes for the shower stalls. The extractor (spinner) was always breaking down---now it has been taken out. I hate putting a soaking wet swim suit in my bag. There is a hose all in a tangle sitting on the floor of the shower room, for no apparent reason other than staff are not paying attention. Management here should wake up and pay attention.

My fiance and I workout at VASA all the time! And we've always gone to whichever location is closest to where we're at.On 7/24 we went into this VASA and we scanned our barcodes as usual. The front desk lady proceeded to tell my fiance that he only has a basic membership and is only allowed to workout at his "home gym" because of that.I proceeded to tell her that we've been going to different VASA's for quite some time now and have not once been stopped because he actually has the "Fitness Membership" as he's been paying that amount for years."A lot of employees won't stop people if they see they have a "BASIC membership" but I stop EVERYONE" was the rude reply from the front desk lady.Needless to say we walked out quickly. And after checking his membership records again, it was made very clear that he is indeed paying for the membership that allows him to use any VASA location. So maybe that lady should work on not being so rude to the guests who have been paying for a membership for much longer than she's probably been working at the gym.Also...the bathrooms were out of order that day. Not their fault, but honestly, it was just a very bad experience in terms of customer service.

Vasa has everything you'll need from a gym. Their team seems alright but I don't usually chat with them. I'd give them a 4 but they have somewhat hidden fees that are annoying and their Sunday hours are short. The mens bathroom is terrible which is pretty standard for gyms. The locker room is decent with plenty of room They go through phases where machines breakdown and it takes them some time to fix them.

Love this gym, I've been going to Vasa from the beginning of time. There were some issues in the past such as general cleanliness and too many out of order machines but for at least the past year or more they have been great. The staff are friendly and helpful.

First and foremost, your staff at Van Winkle were wonderful and helpful. They are the one redeeming quality that has earned this review anything more than a one star.Every other shortcoming of VASA comes from your poor commitment to the customer. There were several broken machines which hindered my workout. Y'all need to figure out a system where guests can report faulty equipment and expect the company to fix it in a timely manner.Your commitment to fees and a bogus "rate guarantee fee" (on top of an annual fee) shows us that you value something else above your customers.VASA Fitness isn't on the side of the consumer.EDIT:I emailed my suggestions to VASA, with pretty clear reasons they should change their billing model and hidden fees. They responded with a template email not addressing any of the points or concerns. Another clear example of how VASA Fitness does not listen to the consumer.
