Buyer beware. I signed up because this gym originally offered a cinema workout room. I made it VERY CLEAR the cinema was the only reason I was joining this particular gym. In order to utilize the cinema, certain contracts (read: more expensive) were required. We signed the more expensive contract. One month later, the cinema was permanently torn down because the gym was being renovated. I have since been told the gym knew it was being torn down when I signed so it was clearly a decietful bait & switch on the part of the manager who originally gave the tour & signed us on as members. In addition, my children were signed up for fitness training and although we've really loved the actual trainers, in the 9 months we've been attending, we've gone through 6 trainers because of the trainers quiting, moving, being transferred, etc.... Billing was also a nightmare. You'll get charged even if your trainer cancels the appointment. So...buyer beware. Just understand the contract and fine print and be ready for not much support when you call in for billing issues.

This place finally obtain some new machines. They place them on the floor with the packaging mounts attached. No sign to keep patrons off for their safety. People used them and bent the heck out of them. Now we have bent new machines. Like everything else, they will stay bent, broken, and unsafe for years. Remodeling for months and not even close to completing. Go check it out! It's like working out in a poorly managed construction zone. I feel like I have been cheated. With how many people using this facility the drinking fountain should be fresh. No it's warm and has no cl2 residual at all (test yourself). Wondering why you been sick latley? Low-flow broken fountains mean stagnant water. Stagnant water means bad organisms can grow and you're drinking that. For your safety don't drink the water.

I went in to discuss membership options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Willing to work with me in my circumstances and explain best options to me. The facility is undergoing renovations but still seems to be able to accommodate many many people.

They are remodeling right and sometimes the sauna isn't working otherwise they'd score a 5. Staff is so friendly, machines are set up nicely. Maybe have someone visually sanitize more. But I love this location!

I understand this location is under a remodel right now but this place is always a mess with weights missing or laying all around the gym. No one puts things back where they found them or keeps things organized. They also have a very small amount of equipment for how large the facility is. The men’s locker room is always disgusting with no one fixing the constantly clogged toilets. The staff are generally not nice here either, most not even bothering to welcome members and continuing their conversations without even acknowledging a member walking in. Some are actually very rude and childish with personal problems they might have with certain members also. I hate the fact I have a membership here and I am only keeping it until the EōS down the road opens up. Will be cancelling this gym as soon as EOS opens their doors.

Prior to the construction a number of the treadmills have been in need of repair they either won’t incline or shut off after 2 min. The basketball rims on both sides need to be replaced one side is crooked and the other side the net hooks are broken. Both water fountains were in need of repair. There is only one set now and they are ready to fall off the wall and the nozzles are loose facing the wrong way so there is water on the floor. My son also had a bag stolen and they are no help to the police to provide any camera footage. I have had 2 front desk employees that were worthless when it came to customer service. The turf on the sled push area is torn. I and my wife have reported several of these issues for years with no changes. My wife even started to go to a different VASA further away due to these issues. The new construction won’t fix most of these issues. I only stay due to how close it is to my house.

This gym has gone downhill. The steam room has been broken for months. It's very dirty--hair in the showers, gritty floor, benches need wiping down. I'm looking for another gym.

I love this Vasa! All of the staff is so nice and passionate about what they do. Melissa signed me up and she was so friendly and helpful! Love this gym and what they have to offer, and it’s never too busy.

What a complete disaster of execution regarding the renovation. Your clients come to your facilities for health. All the while, during this renovation, we have been subject to commercial grade carpet installation equipment, paint fumes, dust from metal grinders, removal of gym flooring, demolition of walls, odors from propane and paint, commercial grade renovation machinery such as scissor lifts and forklifts all during peak business hours. It is clear that the health and wellness of the clients is not their top priority. It is the competition of a new Fitness facility opening up within the next several months. Shame on the corporate leadership for not identifying that this club was in bad need of a renovation far before your competition announced a new opening. Shame on the local gym leadership for poor execution on the renovation. There has been zero communication regarding this renovation, nor has any concession been made for discounts due to the major disruption in the daily operations for the client experience.

This is probably one of the most crowded gyms in the sandy area but that is not why I am canceling my membership. Today the manager decided to kick me out of the cycling room because of a new policy that no member is allowed to use the cycling room unless they are in a cycling class. This is probably one of the most unprocessed/uncooked decisions that this gym took, given that they only have a handful of cycling classes especially in the evenings when the gym is most crowded and they only have about 5 bikes on the gym floor. Anyways, I do not recommend this facility, management is trash…go to the EOS down the street.
