I have been going to the Riverton Vasa for about 5 months. I signed up with one of their personal trainers. His name is Milo. He is awesome at training! I felt pretty awkward about having a personal trainer because I wasn't in the best of shape, but after the first session I was good to go. He is knowledgeable and has a great personality. I highly recommend him as a trainer.

**Note** Click on the names of the five star reviews. You'll notice that many of them are basically ghost accounts with no activity but with one review for VASA Fitness. So they are buying fake reviews! Pretty sad.Terrible experience, you really do get what you pay for. Gym is poorly maintained with old equipment. The free weights are never available because no one puts them back. Never any parking. The employees just stand at the front desk and are never out on the floor to help.Recently I was playing basketball and I got punched in the face by another member. When I went to ask the manager what he could do, he told me "s*%& happens on the court" and to just "deal with it". Then when I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me and shoved me out the door. Very unprofessional low class place. You're better off going somewhere that treats their customers with respect.

The Riverton location is my favorite Vasa in the entire state! Kevin hand picks his staff and makes sure that everyone loves their job! Shelby is one of the best front desk staff I've ever seen at this location. She is always accommodating and is always there to hear your concerns! The entire staff is great and really care about their members! Not to mention, the facility is always clean and machines are rarely broken or fixed within 24 hours. I have another location that is closer to me, but I drive the extra 15 minutes to go to Riverton because I love the environment that much more!

Great gym. Busy after 5 as most gyms are, but there's plenty of equipment to go around. Would've given five stars but they lost my wife's drivers licence, one of the guys accidentally took it home so she couldn't drive all day until he brought it back the next morning. It was an isolated incident though. Overall great place to work out.

This has been the greatest affordable gym you can find. While not over the top, it is a gym that is available for a great price.I have been going here since its opening. I was reluctant to give up my other gym membership, but VASA had an offer that was too good to pass up (if it really was true). The gym has been a good experience. Much closer than my previous, just as friendly and clean, the VASA fitness has proven a great investment. I have enjoyed my experience, the staff has been helpful and kind. Equipment is versatile and enough for a normal gym. Classes are fun and at convienet hours. The childcare is awesome. Available at good hours, and incredibly affordable. I have four children which attend the childcare frequently. They enjoy the experience. The staff is also accommodating to requests and open for suggestions. While I have encountered some issues, all my concerns has been addressed. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to workout and is in a tight budget.

Basic Globo Gym atmosphere. If you sign up for a $19.99 membership in reality you can expect to pay an average of $25.81 per month for a year. They have a processing sign up fee and a "rate guarantee fee" in addition they will charge you $25 if you cancel before six months. To quit you have to give 30 days notice as well. Those are the not hidden costs but not advertised costs either. No issues with the staff. Cleanliness is fair at best but it has a lot of amenities to get jacked... or whatever. Not bad but nothing to write home about.

I first visited this gym early in 2015 and gave them a 1 star rating because of the miscommunication with me as a customer with their 3 day trial pass and also their daily visitor rate is quite expensive ($15 if you go in alone, $10 if you go in with a member). I will call it growing pains. They have been open over a year now and have a great manager, Ashley, who works well with customers and supports the other team members. A lot of reviews talk about the lack of transparency with contracts, the gym likely needs to work on their presentation to make sure everyone understands their cancelation fees, whats involved, and how to end contracts etc. The gym itself is great. The equipment is in good shape and the gym is really clean. I am just here visiting the past 2 weeks, but if I were to live here, I would get a membership because of the location, open space, and equipment. I would make sure I understand my own contract as they do have varying options, but its important to do that with any gym membership where ever you go.

This is the worst gym to be a member with. The staff thinks you owe them something for coming into the gym. The membership card reader never worked and you feel like it's a real pain in the rear for the desk attendant to have to type it in manually. Get that fixed!! The equipment was ok but would stink more than not and I mean smell. Could of been more stationary bikes to use. The trainers thought their crap didn't stink and act like they really don't want to be bothered. (find another job) The trainer Andrew was an exception. He was great! He has a great attitude and a genuine interest in helping. I hated this place and will never go back. With all the other reviews, I'm not alone with the way I feel and think. If I treated my guests the way I've been treated, I would no longer be employed. My recommendation is to get new management that knows customer service, equipment, cleaning and a general interest with what is going on. Good luck!!!

Danny signed me up at a different gym back when it was Gold's. He definitely went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable there. I felt welcomed there by him and his staff every time I went in. When I saw him at the gym in Riverton we talked for a little bit and he eventually talked me into personal training, which I paid in full for. Best thing I've ever done. The trainers are awesome. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking.

I have this same experience as below attached story, they didn't say the annual fee $39 when I sign off the membership. and further more, their management is really bad, The water in swimming pool getting dirty and dirty, but no one take care of it. One day I got sick after swimming, I am going to cancel the membership now, Never ever go to VASA again !!!!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Mike Bennett3 months ago-The facility is very nice with excellent equipment. I'm not thrilled with how things went during the enrollment process. We were rushed, the sales person skipped important details. Although it is written on the contract we were unwise and didn't take the time to read the "fine print". We asked if there were other costs or fees, and the answer given was "NO". My wife & I were dumb & took the sales persons word for it. Our bank account was just charged an additional $83.34 unexpectedly! This is an annual Maintenance fee. ($39.00 plus tax per membership annually) I'm totally fine with the "maintenance fee" I feel it could have been handled more professionally by having the sales person disclose that in the beginning...
