Only $9.99 a month!! Just kidding, here's a 50 dollar annual fee 2 months after signing up, and a $25 cancelation fee. First time I signed up they required me to take a "test" where they see my strength and range of motion with a personal trainer, even though I asked not to. Nice people but come on please mind your own space and let me workout. Also tried calling them to deactivate my account and it felt like I was defusing a time bomb. Would not recommend this shady business to anyone, they lie to you about fees and will not waive them even if you try negotiating on call with a representative.

The cardio machines are so dirty. It's like they haven't been cleaned in years and the front desk staff were literally just sitting at the front desk doing nothing. You'd think it should be a requirement to wipe down the machines daily by the staff especially after a pandemic. The benches are worn out and falling apart. The womens restroom had many toilets without toilet paper. This was my first experience I had and I was not impressed. Also, when I signed up they charged me a fee in which I didn't know what it was for and no one explained it to me. As I was under the impression there was no sign up fee and my monthly membership would be $39.99. But there are hidden costs. The gym does the job for now but I'm not sure I'll be sticking around for long.

Convenient location and friendly staff, but they have got to start reinvesting in their facility! Machines are down for months at a time and the plates are all falling apart. It's packed after 5, so they've got the business. Today, all the urinals were down as well. Lastly, the hot tub looks like it could use a good scrub.

I haven’t had any problems at this gym, it’s actually one of my favorite places to be. The employees are friendly and if you’re a regular the make sure to know your name. They always offer a smile and say nice things. I think it’s a great environment whether you’re a beginner in the gym, or are experienced. I feel very welcomed and accepted every time I come here.

The cadio equipment is a joke there are only 6 stair machines and 3 are not working 2 of which haven't been for 9 months! And then there are the many treadmills that are out of order. Today I counted 9. Good luck getting a machine r after 5. Fix your machine vasa, please! On a better note the staff is very friendly and kind.

Vasa’s Check in app uses a point system to get a credit at the revive store but the points do not accumulate as they should. I’ve been stuck at 62 out of 75 points for over a year and I check in daily six days a week. I talked to someone at the front desk and they said that their app did the same thing-I’ve contacted support about this problem and it will be interesting to see what they have to say and what excuse is a give to me. Why do they even have this feature is they’re not going to honor their own system or make it work correctly? Also, obviously, my name is been changed to protect my identity and Vasa Support will not find me in their system, but believe me—I am in their system or why would I bother to post this review? I just want future members to know the full deal with this place because this is just the tip of the iceberg.

This place is packed!! I thought they were limiting the amount of people inside the gym because of covid. Went for the first time in months and no one was social distancing and majority wasn’t wearing a mask. People just come up to you and do whatever. What’s the point of making an appointment?? Good thing my membership is paid by my employer or I would by cancelling. Please do something about this!!

I grew up going to this gym since I was in middle school. Now that I am in college, I have to commute from southern Utah where there is one Vasa that does not have a pool, basketball court, and several of the extra features that come with the Vasa centers in Salt Lake😅 Because of this, I only pay for the basic membership (the lowest membership) that includes only one gym location use. Normally when I travel north, I would have to pay several fees or upgrade to a bigger pass for the one week I’m back out of the several months that I am attending school. Sean, at the Riverton location, was very nice and helped me figure out a solution for my payments so that I could go to the gym without having to pay extensive fees! I’ve gone to this gym for several years and have no intentions on switching. The staff is very kind, easy to work with, and create a positive environment for you to workout in.

The gym itself is fine. Member services is terrible. My wife and I decided to upgrade our memberships from Basic (lowest level) to Studio (highest level). Since there is no option to upgrade your existing membership, the only option was to cancel the old memberships and start new ones. They insisted on charging us cancellation fees and every other fee they could think of. $180 total in fees to "cancel" our memberships so we could upgrade to new ones. They insisted that "it's in the agreement" and there's nothing they could do. I would understand VASA collecting these fees if we were outright canceling so we could join another gym. Insisting on charging us these "cancellation" fees so that we could UPGRADE our memberships is flat out ridiculous and terrible customer service. If you're considering joining a gym, I would look elsewhere.

Like other members I was notified by VASA that membership dues will be suspended due to Covid earlier this year and probably like other members, I was NOT notified that membership dues would resume in May and through the summer months of the pandemic. They refused to refund any of the charges including the membership renewal I was charged last month for $80.00 without notification. I did mange to get them to cancel my membership though. How very nice of them! What a poor way to conduct business and treat your customers. Even worse they've lost a member forever who was simply waiting to return when it was safe to do so. Good luck VASA! I'm sure someone from VASA's marketing department will read this and keep on scrolling while sipping on his/her wheat grass smoothie.
