Ya'll need to get some responsible weekend openers. I'm out in my car, buggin on pre-workout. It's 5:21 and nobody has showed up. I'm here every morning. The KIDS you have opening your gym don't realize how important this time is to a lot of us. Get it together.

I got extremely sick today at the gym and an employee by the name of Gray was incredibly compassionate and helpful. He let me grab a Gatorade (I paid for it later) so I could quickly get hydrated and RAN to the restroom to run hot water on a washcloth to help me out. He helped me to avert a major medical episode and I am very, very grateful for him.

I have been a member with Vasa for a number of years. Whenever I need help from the front desk they always refer me to corporate to solve or rectify the issue. It is so frustrating at times when I don’t hear back from corporate and I need to call multiple times or email multiple times. I feel like the customer service car is very lacking.

Pros:- As low as $10/mo. At the end of the day, that’s incredibly cheap.Cons:- Extremely crowded between 7 AM - 9 AM and 4 PM - 8 PM Monday - Thursday. It’s nearly impossible for me to get a single piece of equipment I need without waiting 5-10 minutes.- A significant amount of the equipment is old, falling apart, or broken. And it seems broken equipment stays broken for quite a while.- There is a lack of weight. If you are trying to bench/squat/deadlift/leg press/sled push heavy weight, expect to walk across the gym in search of 45s. And don’t expect there to be enough weight available, especially during peak hours.- $10/mo. The low price point is too low. I would gladly pay $30, $40, maybe even $50/mo if it meant smaller crowds/better maintenance/more weight/additional/newer machines.I used to go to EoS when I lived near the Murray EoS location. I really wish there was an EoS within 15 minutes of me in Riverton - I’d gladly drive there. It’s the same price and much nicer/bigger. More bang for your buck. If you are into lifting heavy weights and are torn between this Riverton location and EoS, I’d recommend EoS.I really hope they expand/upgrade this Vasa location or put an EoS in in the Riverton/Bluffdale area because this is getting pretty unbearable.

Very shady and unethical business practices. As others have mentioned, their cancellation process is difficult to get through. I cancelled after one month and kept getting charged and it was because of a "family account" that I had set up in the beginning which I was told wouldn't cost any extra. I ended up having to pay multiple extra fees and months of membership that I never used. I got on the phone and emailed them multiple time and they always said that I had already cancelled. If I cancelled was was I still getting these charges? Either there's extremely unethical behavior at play or they're straight up incompetent. I will be recommending against anybody ever using this trash of a service.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I have been to the sandy VASA 100+ times and been ok. 2/3 times thar I’ve been to the Riverton gym I got Covid. I got Covid twice from this location. They do not clean their machines. All the machines are facing each other so you are face to face spreading germs. This location is disgusting. Drive an extra 10 and go to Draper or and extra 15 and go to sandy. Clean your machines Riverton.

The workers are always pleasant to deal with.It is a little bit smaller which is fine. My only complaint (and this goes for every vasa) is we need more dumbbells 10lbs -30lbs. Within that range, they are always being used.

Edit: I’m editing my review because after I posted this they did let me cancel my membership without the extra fees.Every vasa around the area is always completely packed. It’s so much hassle to even get a good workout in between waiting for parking and then equipment. I’ve been a member for over 4 years trying to make it worth it but they tack on lots of hidden fees and make it impossible to cancel without paying for the whole next month even when I’m cancelling because the gym is practically unusable it’s so busy.

We arrived at 9:45pm (quick 5 min tan since they stupidly close at 10pm on a Saturday), and the lights were off already and she very bubbly said we were too late (as if she takes pleasure in telling ppl no), and she had closed down “the system” early to not allow check-in. There was plenty of time to give customer service and close on time. She did that last time we were there also—shut off the lights early while people were still working out. When I said I’d look into if that was VASA policy, she made some rude comment to her friends standing there.

Good gym 10/10 equipment and cleanliness wise. It’s all the fees that’s the problem. Gotta pay a fee to switch home gyms, gotta pay a fee to cancel your membership, and gotta pay an expensive activation fee too. They be draining my bank account 💀💀 …
