I've never truly joined a gym but I have to assume not all are like this. It was a easy process to sign up, great facility. Staff (Jake) always helps out. I love the basketball court.Love the app. Earning badges is great. Wish they had more badges than just checking in.

The gym itself is fine, but probably not for those who are looking to save money. I got the 23 dollar monthly subscription, which allows me to go to any location, which is cool. If you're wondering about the $10/month subscription though, there is now an $80 dollar sign-up fee for that. In addition to the monthly subscription there will be a $50 fee after two months because "we want to make sure you're paying your monthly subscription." Also, be aware that if you're looking to join for just a few months, or if you just wanna try out the gym, there will be a $25 cancellation fee if you cancel within six months. Not to mention the $16 monthly fee if you want to bring "up to" two friends along (which used to be included in the monthly subscription a few years ago by the way). To their credit though, I was made aware of all these fees before I signed up. Decide for yourself if it's worth it for you. If you're not too worried about additional, unexpected expenses, then the gym definitely does the trick and everything else about it is cool in my opinion.

The staff and trainers at the S Jordan location are great. The machines are well maintained (not all of em do that) and the value for the program price is awesome. Thanks for all the work. It’s paying off. And Jaime, that dude freakin rocks!

Was a member of 24 hour fitness until they closed their doors. Went to the Draper Vasa and wasnt very impressed (small gym with a lot of people - not ideal for social distancing). The Riverton location is awesome! Big gym with plenty of space and very CLEAN! Great equipment options. Everything you need.

It's a good gym with many things you can do. Just about all the staff I have talked with are nice and helpful. I tried doing all three yoga classes at one point but the one instructor on Saturdays seems to obliviously leave the music WAY too loud. The main two problems I have is that it can be hard to find parking and that it seems to take too long for them to fix broken equipment.

I LOVE THIS GYM! The workers are great, everything is really clean you can tell that VASA goes over and beyond to make sure that the gym is sanitized and clean for us. They are constantly wiping down equipment. GREAT JOB VASA!

The daycare seems very unorganized and understaffed. My spouse dropped our 7 month old son off today. No one took him back they expected us to walk through all the kids and set him in the baby area. She set him down. When she came back an hour later to get him he was in the same spot. Had throw up on his arm and snot all over his face like no one had even touched him. It is a great gym and I love the daycare option but it is stressful leaving your child there when the employees seem stressed and under staffed. Most of the time we go it is fine and he enjoys it. Recently it has seemed beyond chaotic. I feel like it is too much for them to handle. A 7 month old should really be given more attention.

Absolutely love this gym. I've had a membership for 2 years now and have always been greeted and helped. Never wrote a review for it, but felt like it today because Marc was especially helpful to me and absolutely made my day! I always recommend Vasa, because it's the only gym I've felt comfortable at. They have a ton of things to do also. I love using the sauna after lifting weights or taking a class. I'm never bored when I go.

I’ve been going to this Vasa since the location has been open. These treadmills haven’t been working since the year they opened. The treadmills constantly have “working to fix the problem” signs on them, but haven’t seemed to get the problems fixed since 2015!!!!! If the treadmills don’t have the sign on them, they still don’t work properly! You could be running at a 10.0 speed and all of the sudden it will drop you down to 4.0 speed on a dime. Dangerous. Keep in mind Vasa charges an ABSURD amount of money once a year for maintenance fees and there seems to be NO maintenance on the machines!!!!! Themaintenance fees you pay go to there new studios and equipment for personal training that no one ever goes into or uses!!! They are always just trying to find a way to take more money from you!! Every time I ask management about it they seem to have no answer. FIGURE IT OUT VASA!!!!! It’s almost 2020!!!(4/5) treadmills pictured with “working to fix the problem” signs on them

I’ve been doing personal training at VASA for about three months. My trainer, Destinee, is awesome! She does so much for me and my sister and is always willing to give us advice even when she’s not working. However, I have given VASA two stars because I’ve had some rather horrible interactions with some of their other staff members and trainers. It’s a great facility to workout at as long as you don’t interact with staff too much.
