This is one of the best otf in bay area. Although slightly crowded, but not as bad as others.

I saw a rat scurry into the bushes on the sidewalk by the Orange Theory Fitness😬😬. This was in broad daylight. Not sure who to contact but I think they/Monticello Plaza should get a pest control expert in before the situation worsens. …

A very costly workout studio with poor communication is just too much of a hit to the pocket. I wish the place was geared more towards promoting fitness than making money.

OTF Monticello is great! I love all of the front desk staff and the coaches are awesome!

Orange theory fitness are scammers! They charge customers for a no- show even if there is a genuine reason for customers to not show up on time. This OT is next to a school so you’re invariably stuck due to school crowd around. They also don’t have a parking lot next to the studio, making it longer to get to the gym. When I wanted to dispute my charge, somebody called and was extremely rude, the person said ‘she doesn’t prefer email communication and likes to speak on phone’ and ended the discussion saying they can’t do anything about the money they deducted from my card for showing up few mins late because of the school traffic.Orange Theory has no regard for customers and it is a big scam!

I have been to multiple OTFs throughout the country and this has been the worse. I was late for a class and while I was fine with not being able to attend the class as I reached at 6:19:45 for a 6:15 class, the receptionist there was really rude about the whole ordeal. She rescheduled the class with the emphasis that the class has to be attended the same day. We are working professionals who take time out of our schedule to attend the class, if we are there and it is not a "no-show" but a late entry, I should have the ability to schedule the class the next day. It takes me 10 mins to drive to the class and today it was raining so my usual route was slower. Now I have to allot another time in the same day to attend the class and taking 2 hours because of all the extra charges does not seem worth it. Anyways I ended up cancelling the membership as attending a gym need not be chore on top of everything else that we do in our lives. The staff at Monticello needs to be a little more empathetic and at least allow folks who show up late to reschedule their classes anytime they want and not just during the same day. I have been late to classes in Austin and DC and was not aware of this policy. The situation could have been handled better.

OTF is great. Both the coaches and the class structure keep it fun day after day.Unlike some other group classes, at OTF the muscle focus changes daily meaning that you can do fitnessing everyday (if you want to!) without burning out. And even if you choose to go only a few days a week, you still get to use most muscles at every session. The structure makes it really easy for noobs to workout without peer pressure as the goals are against a personal and not absolute scale. The cardio aspect with the heartrate tracker really helps focus the effort. No sandbagging! And the treadmill component is great for people who would subconsciously slow down when walking/jogging/running: it keeps us honest to our goals.Being a tightly controlled franchise means you can go to a different gym to meetup with gym buddies and still get the same workout as if at the home gym. The post-workout summaries can be compared between friends at other gyms allowing for greater sense of community, and competitiveness if wanted.Another thing I like are the music choices of the coaches: they bring a personal/cultural touch.

The facility is OK. They have much less 3G classes as opposed to other studios. What I was super unhappy about was their cancellation policy. Even though I told them I want to cancel the membership well in time of the next billing cycle they keep on insisting me to charge for the next month! This is a subscription service not a rental apartment agreement, I subscribe when I want, and I cancel when I want. Stop unprofessional and unethical business practices!

Hi,I was a member of Orange theory. I paid for my classes for that month, Due to pandemic, the facility was closed. We moved out from that area. From then, I am behind them to refund my money. It’s been 2 whole years and I have not received refund.i contacted them through Multiple phone calls and emails, every time they promised to revert the money to my card in 24 hours. Big time liars. Totally disappointed with them.

OTF Monticello is amazing! The front desk staff is very sweet and helpful. The coaches are so motivating and always striving to do their best to help us finish the killer challenges OTF keeps throwing at us (Big shoutout to Coach D and Coach Keenan). It never gets boring. There is always something new to look forward to like their signature Dri-Tri, Hell Week etc.Grateful to this team for helping me get back on track with my physical health!
