Unfortunately, this hasn’t been my best experience with a gym.Staff: 2/5 won’t bother you, but also won’t be welcoming you at the front.Equipment: 4/5 4 squat racks, lots of benches, and tons of cardio machines.Cleanliness: 5/5 One of the best in terms of that.Free Personal training felt like my goals weren’t looked into and instead of going into weight lifting, we just did cardio. Was also pushed to buy $2000 worth of personal training upfront 😭

The gym itself isn’t bad. The only problem is that it’s super hot and humid in there. I’ve been to other gyms and this is not an issue but at this location it seems as if the AC system is broken or super weak. If they’re able to fix the AC problem then the gym is good.

Night manager - caucasian lady- refused me entry because i had a guest at 10 pm. Is it really a big deal? I drive 30 mins to get to this gym. Pay membership AND training for these dumb rules? Thank you very much i guess.

This location has had no hot water for over a week now. It seems like they have no rush on fixing it. How do they maintain the gym clean if they do not have the bare minimum needed to clean which is hot water. I feel the city should close down this gym down until they fix the problem since it’s a health hazard

No longer frequent this franchise. Facilities are not very clean anymore. Decided to take membership elsewhere

Assistant Manager Rashad is the best person working at this xsport location. He’s extremely helpful and friendly to all guest. Every question and issues I have he takes care of it in the most polite and professional way that surpasses all his work peers. I believe he would make a great manager or regional manager if was given the position. These are the type of people Xsport should strive to hire in order for there guest to have the best experience. I was a member of schaumburg location. Very poor and rude customer service at this facility by the manager. I had inquired about raise in monthly charges. Earlier it was 9.99 per month but in last month is was raised 12.95 after spending one year there is new enrollment is going on with $9.99 per month. I feel bad that after spending one year money my monthly amount is raised but for a new member is different, i have a feeling that being a continue membership is more costly and there is no change in single facility , equipment or anything. I had approached for the same with manager, he has d attitude of being manager but he don't to how to satisfactory answer to the member. I know he is an employee so there is no change in his salary if member is convince or not, but i wish he will treat with same attitude though who comes to him regarding increase of membership monthly amount. I believe every members has to be treated as the same way. Any Good luck to the Xsport.

Update March 2023: Showers still don't work properly. Toilets are in falling apart state. Machines are only updated when they die. I prepaid for 2 years so will be around but come on guys. Fix up stuff and maintain the gym. Staff is really nice thoughOriginal review: It's ok gym nothing special. Always crowded lots of useful gear available only to people taking classes ( heavy bag etc) .. low weight kettlebells. Been to same level gyms that were a lot better equippedUpdate 2020: I had to add that staff here is one of the best in xsport gyms. However locker rooms are constantly getting in worse shape. Some showers are broken for months (for example the big one that is also handicapped access only shower is running for last 4 days and it can't be shutdown and nothing is still done about it).
