From out of town..Probably one of the worst locations I have been to. Mens Bathroom actually smell like urine with trash on the floor. Shower stalls out of order. When actually going to workout. Gym equipment for cables are completely worn and need to be replaced. Flooring is bubbling up and is a tripping hazard. Hopefully GM sees this and fixes some of these issues for locals.

Water in the showers was cold & absolutely disgusting. Came here a few days ago and it was much better. Need to have cleaning crew come more often. Trash & hair all over the floor. See pic

This place is ghetto and not clean. Alot of machines don't work and the stuff stands at the desk doing nothing bit talking. I went ad a guest and have been harassed by and employee who is asking too much of my person business. Parking lot is nasty. Went to another PF place and had no problem just giving them my name and phone to be a guest. Try talk manager and he was no but told me to leave and for his manager and he told me, would call the police on me. Well the person who invite me was very upset the way I was treated and has never been back.

Joined planet fitness after the latest round of covid started to decline. I must say I was surprised at how clean they keep the gym. That is a plus for me. Also, I was concerned about how busy it would be but that hasn't been a problem since they have a lot of machines. Overall I am very happy and you can't beat the low price.

Staff are friendly. My only complaint is the cleanliness and lack of maintenance. I’ve been to many planet fitnesses and just joined this one due to moving. Never seen so many broken parts on equipments. Not sure how safe they are. We pay a yearly annual fee to keep up the maintenance of these equipments and they’re being severely neglected! Water fountain also doesn’t work.

I’ve been here twice and never coming back. aloof staff & gym goers don’t care about cleanliness. I didn’t see one person wipe a machine down after using it. The mens locker room smells like middle school. The lockers look & smell like they haven’t been wiped out in months. Showers also look & smell like they haven’t been scrubbed in a hot min! So disappointing. By the attitude on the staffs face this review will mean nothing either

It's amazing what a difference this chain of fitness locations have done to the environment of the "local gym." From the signs pronouncing that "YOU BELONG" and other messaging to quell unfriendly attitude/bullying that can often ruin the gym going experience - it's a refreshing take.Pricing is really affordable and they offer perks for higher tier members that I haven't seen before as inclusive options at other fitness clubs. The spa style treatments of tanning, massage and rejuvenation is what I suspect is the primary draw (as opposed to the resistance training) of at least a few happy members. The Rainier Beach location offers lots of space and equipment to minimize wait time between sets. Plus the staff have been very accommodating since the pandemic, offering a clean environment and friendly assistance to ensure the value of the membership exceeds the monthly cost.

Laid back environment. Equipped with all the proper tools to grow in health and fitness ventures. Love the schedule, very convenient for people with unusual work schedules. Also, can’t go wrong with the low membership price. Thank you PF. Will definitely workout there again.🙌🏽 💪🏾 …

I’ve been going here for months now. I’m getting my workouts in but equipment/water fountain here will be broken for weeks on end. I find myself waiting to use a single machine for upwards of 20 minutes since they only have a single one that works. Paper towel dispensers are often empty. Some staff is incredibly rude for no reason. Peep the photo ft. the fingernail clipping in the tanning bed under the glass - Good example of the standards of cleanliness around this gym overall.

MADE THE MISTAKE OF COMING BACK HERE. BATHROOMS ARE STILL DISGUSTING. OWNERS SHOULDBE EMBARRASSED. SHOWERS STILL BROKEN. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PLANET FITNESS I'VE BEEN TO REGARDING CLEANING. TRASHALL OVER THE FLOOR. EVERYTHING IS FILTHY.PERHAPS FIX THE PROBLEM, RETRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES INSTEAD OF SAYING IN WELCOME TO CALL YOUR AND TELL YOU MORE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE.MANAGER CLEARLY DOESN'T MANAGE SEEING THE STATE OF THE MEN'S BATHROOMS EACH VISIT I'VE MADE. PATHETIC, JUST PATHETIC.Visiting twice from out of town in the past month, bathrooms are disgusting. Bare minimal clean plus two 'out of order showers' both visits.
