OrangeTheory member for 4+ years now. Two years at this location and previously a member at another location. The Assembly Row coaches are not as motivating and personable as coaches at other locations I was a member of. Most classes are also 3G at Assembly location despite not being full enough for a true 3G class on a regular basis. This is extremely frustrating as a member who joined years ago based on the original 2G group classes... Other locations have significantly more 2G classes than Assembly. I’ve also not been allowed in with their new “5 minute late” policy, yet I’ve been in class when people have come in 10 minutes late. I love OTF, but this location is far from the best.

Good workout, nice facility, but of the 3 OTF studios I’ve tried in my area, this was my least favorite! The staff isn’t welcoming. They don’t make eye contact or greet you when you come in. They don’t take questions well, I felt as if I was putting them out by asking simple questions... I.e. where can I fill my water bottle, can you confirm my monitor is online, etc. The coach was especially cold. She went through set instructions WAY to quickly, seemed very bothered when I asked for follow-up (all but rolled her eyes at me), and just wasn’t motivating or friendly.I’ve had some really nice experiences as a new OTF member, but Somerville was NOT one of them.

Love the place and the workouts, the staff and coaches are great. Brandon and his team helped me sign up for the class. They were immensely helpful, Brandon is always professional and offer assistance when needed. Highly recommended.

I've been a member here since they opened over two years ago and love it. The coaches, sales associates, and members are all great. The workouts are challenging and different from day to day, there are fun activities from month to month, and the coaches and members make the workouts fly by!
