The swim program is excellent! My three kids grew so much in their abilities in the water. The instructors were patient and met the kids at their level. We will continue to utilize the swim lessons provided by Genesis!

I have only been their once as a member but as a physical Therapy patient I have use the pool and the hot tub several times. I have only one complaint that the pool water can be very cold at times

I live here in Saint Joseph, Mo. Genesis Health club is the best in town. They are professional, respectful and it’s a very clean facility! Great job Genisis!

I loved the place but recently its being kind of dirty, the cardio equipment is super dusty and is not because of the use, I was in the same machine for 3 days in the same week and even the carpet in the cardio section its super dirty, I used to stretch in that section but because of that I don’t want to touch the floor. The rest of the facility is ok ... and one more thing the carpet in the lady’s lookers in front of the mirror is being with a horrible smells dirty since i remember around 2 years ... and I complained about that long time ago and they didn’t do anything... But the rest of the facility trust me I love it, but i think they need to take care of this kind of problems.

My son canceled his membership in January 2021 and is still being charged. He fulfilled his membership obligations, he went in and canceled and months later is still being charged. The bank reversed the charges and Genesis took his account information and used a different Genisis account to continue to withdraw money. He calls every month and every month they say it is the first time they have spoke to him. The corporate office was rude and unprofessional stating they show no record of him canceling. Genisis clean that filthy building, fix your equipment and conduct business in a legit manner! This is a very unprofessional way to run a business.

I rent a locker here. I pay extra every month for the locker. I went to the gym and they had cleaned out my locker and threw away all my stuff. Their still charging me for the locker. When I talked to them about it they didn't seem to care.

If you want to learn the game of Tennis there is NO other place to go than Genesis. Shanky & Jackson’s ability to breakdown the fundamentals to a beginner so they can comprehend and translate it in motion is vital to future success of the player.

Shanky was my brother and I’s tennis coach for a little over a year, and in that time, he managed to transform our games immensely. Of all the coaches I have had, he is the most hard working and passionate. He truly cares about every single person he teaches and believes in them no matter what. I live in Tennessee, but recently visited Shanky at the Genesis Health Club to train with my brother for a weekend. The clinics were fun and upbeat, and lessons with Shanky were extremely useful; his coaching methods are very different from other coaches and will find a way to improve your game. I will definitely be visiting again in the future.
