Genesis Health Clubs - St Joseph

Love working out at Genesis, from the pool and hot tub to the wide array of machines, it is great. Not to mention the steam room and smoothie bar, which is a bonus on top. Definitely worth checking out.

I joined today and Ryan Humphrey signed me up. He took me on a tour and explained what all the areas were for. He answered all my questions. I am looking forward to getting started. I think it will be a right move in trying to stay healthy. Glad this fitness club is in St Joe.

I love genesis tennis in st. Joseph, MO. The group of pros is amazing and have welcomed me with open arms to the local tennis community. Taking lessons with Jackson and cardio tennis have been so great for my game!

I was having a huge issue signing up online and had some issues when I called so I made an appt with Jesse and he fixed all my problems in a matter of a half hour got us and the kids signed up and now there are a lot of options on things we can do and do with the kids now. Everyone here is always very nice and helpful when we come in and will do whatever they can to help or find what you need and I’m glad we signed up and started coming hereThanks again to the regional manager Jesse for being kind and taking the time for the appt snd also walking me around and showing me everything!!!

Genesis is a wonderful company with great trainers and wonderful tennis pros. Shanky, Jackson, and Tommy offer amazing classes and are super friendly and easy to work with. You'll always get great cardio in with their cardio classes.

This is a wonderful place to get exercise especially for seniors. The club is very nice, offers a plethora of classes and activities, very clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I am glad I signed up with them!

As a first time gym goer I recently signed up here. I was helped by Lucy who was extremely helpful giving me vegan lifting advice. The gym has all the equipment I need including heavy dumbells past 30lbs. Manager Jose kept talking to me about my English accent and told me of local tennis clubs. 10/10 gym glad I signed a 7 year contract.

My "better half" and I joined just before the new facility opened in St. Joseph. We kept our membership for more than two years, but decided to stop for a while since we had not been using it.They have been calling and emailing me asking me to join. We thought about joining again, so I answered when one gentlemen called. He didn't want to give me prices over the phone, he wanted me to come out and visit . I told him we had been members there so I just wanted the prices to decide. He also said that the prices were going up after that day - but again did not give me a price. I ended up not joining with him.Then I called the club today and asked about the prices. I explained that we had been members there and were thinking about joining again, and I just needed to know the membership prices. Amazingly, the prices were going to go up again after today -- but he couldn't give me "specific" prices. If I wanted to join and agree to 15 months it would be around "50-ish" and then around 25-ish for my second person.... and that was the cheapest. Not even close to what I paid before.So needless to say, we will be looking elsewhere -- where it is not as expensive.It is a shame, because we did enjoy the facility before.

Shanky and Jackson are wonderful tennis pros. Their cardio tennis class is amazing. The calorie burn is great for any level of fitness. U don’t even have to know how to play. Fun and easy. These guys are encouraging also!!! Can’t wait to do it again..

Friendly and compassionate staff. The swimming program is especially good and their director, Mary, has gone over and beyond to help me in my recovery from a bad case of sciatica by giving me helpful swimming exercises to do. Can’t say enough good about her and about this place. Great for ALL ages!
