The North Syracuse location needs to get some cattle bells, platform steps, and a functional fitness area; otherwise, it's a nice gym.

Cons: Had to change my review. They need to start using the Lunk alarm and require people to wear shoes. Many walk around in socks and/or slides. Dress code should be enforced (no jeans) Gangsta rap music with filthy lyrics is quite appalling. I signed up for a 24 hour gym and they've yet to return to that after Covid. Might as well pay an additional $10 and go to Aspen. Different atmosphere.Pros: Friendly staff, generally clean and the cost.

Some of us go there to workout and some go to sit and play with their phones. There are many " only one" type machines and if someone is sitting there playing with their phone it's hard to get in a workout. Why go to a fitness club if you just want to play with your phone? Stay home!!

Planet Fitness exceeded my expectations. From the welcoming staff to the well-equipped gym, I had one of my best workouts there. The environment was not intimidating at all, making me feel comfortable to push myself. Highly recommend.
