If you're looking for a well equipped gym to get your workout on on a budget, this is the place. Only downside is that it can get crowded at times... and sometimes ventilation isn't turned on so it can get hot and steamy in there. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.

Tried this gym out after a few months and just wasn’t feeling it. Staff was friendly but it’s a smaller location and quite crowded at times. Felt stuffy in the evenings.Equipment was nice and when the extra classroom was open I’d go do my mat workouts there to get away from the busy.Cant beat the $10 monthly fee but I decided to go elsewhere with more room.

I don't think I've ever hated going to a gym so much. The staff is great super friendly and helpful. But this gym is so small! It's not well ventilated so it's really hot and there's honestly just not enough equipment. It's so small everyone is super close together and only about 10 percent of people actually wear a face mask and wipe down the equipment. The not wearing a face mask wouldn't bother me if the place was big enough and people could actually spread out.

Lots of cardio equipment, free weights and specialized equipment for targeting the right muscle groups. I don't normally attend any of the group x classes but enjoy the equipment. Priced well and convient hours of operation.

Began going to this gym after Covid began and no masks were required and there was no distancing. Vibe felt different. Only 2 squat racks. Okay gym for the low price though, with several different machines that I haven't seen in any other gyms in the area.

Non-judgmental & supportive staff! I have worked with two awesome personal trainers (Via & Darren). I was a complete NOVICE to exercise & gym equipment. I have learned Nutrition and exercises to allow me to live a healthy life going forward. Best monthly payment I make!

An honest review:Referred to this gym by a co-worker last year, and it is fantastic. Membership options, equipment, health planning, classes, and personal training put this gym above others I have been to. Customer service at this facility is also exceptional; Sally and Miles were both highly professional and informative while helping my wife sign up, which took five minutes. Additionally, both Sally and Miles took the initiative and provided my wife a discount on her registration fees, as well as a gift card, since I referred her. In general, I have nothing but positive things to say about the customer service at this facility, and it definitely contributes to a judgement-free atmosphere. As a veteran and having traveled a lot, I have used about a dozen different gyms or other facilities, most of which were on various different military installations. The cleanliness, and variety of the equipment at Crunch Fitness in Lakewood is definitely comparable, if not better, than most of the facilities I have used in the past on active duty. As a medium-sized facility, it has more than enough equipment which is appropriately spaced out, so you don't feel like someone is always looking over your shoulder. On top of that, the employees do a great job with sanitation, as the locker room areas generally have no seriously gross odors, and the toilets/showers are almost always spotless, even during peak hours.I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a new gym close to home and conveniently located next to a grocery store and strip mall. I would especially recommend it to anybody with no health or fitness experience, or anyone who's never been to the gym before. Go sign up - just walk in (or go online), talk to an employee, get started and ask questions. They can hook you up with classes, a trainer, and talk you through your options for a bargain price. Lastly, for anyone on the fence about joining because you're intimidated or shy - don't worry about it here. People that go here are here for themselves; there's no judgement or staring, so give it a shot. If they can help my wife (who is a shy introvert) feel comfortable, I'm sure you'll be just fine, too.Pros:- Medium-sized facility with a large variety of equipment and clean areas.- Exceptional customer service and knowledgable employees.- Access to personal trainers, nutrition plans, classes, and other resources.- Hydro-massage (never used it, but heard it's great & worth it. Cool niche thing!).- Judgement-free atmosphere, no toxic staff or patrons. (A lot of regulars are older folk. If they can get in each day and rock it, so can you.)Cons:- Price is higher than what some other gyms may offer, but still a bargain for what you get access to.- Cancelling membership requires written notice to the facility with additional stipulations, which may be inconvenient.- Fees upon registration (initial/monthly/annual) and billing are slightly complicated. Read through the entirety of the membership agreement so you understand everything.

I enjoyed the sign up. The guy at the front desk was nice. The only complaint I have is I think staff should be doing more cleaning. I found hair in the exercise machine. It was so so nasty. I kinda felt like throwing up. I seen one guy whiping down equipment, just one time and the next hour noone helped. And also they need another Smith machine as having only one kinda sucks!

I have been going to this gym for about 2 months now and have been loving it. The few classes I’ve been able to attend (due to a crazy work schedule) have been awesome and challenging and have helped me learned new workouts and techniques with awesome instructors. Every one of the front desk staff are super nice and they have all sorts of equipment. I actually look forward to going to this gym, which is something I haven’t been able to say in the past.
