So let me preface this by saying that I’m an aerialist…more specifically a competitive pole dancer (yes, there is such a thing…check out the Pole Sport Organization-PSO on IG). So my workouts are really… weird. I’m the weirdo doing acrobatics on the pull up bars. As such, I need a gym with space and some good and varied equipment.I was in Tempe for dance practice and needed a gym nearby between rehearsals. I don’t typically go to EOS but it looked like a good place with space and where I could actually TRAIN. You see, there’s a difference between TRAINING and working out. Training is more focused, specific and committed. I’m not knocking those who “work out” and don’t necessarily “train” as seriously at all. I’m just saying there’s different levels of commitment to working out (I think we all know that). And this is where this gym shines; it’s super good for people who work out, who are new to working out, who are serious about working out and also for those who TRAIN.I didn’t feel like I was at another competitor gym that we all know of with a reputation of having mighty good entertainment from it’s patrons (it’s main color scheme is purple and yellow for those who know which gym I’m talking about). So even though EOS is cheaper than other gyms, it doesn’t mean it lacks in quality or style at ALL. They had everything and more than I needed (including something reminiscent of a pole where I could practice my handsprings), and the people were super nice. The manager on staff (a tall man, maybe in his mid twenties, who’s name started with a D…I can’t remember it right now) was wonderful. He made me feel super welcome even though it was my first time there. He seems to really care about the workings of the facility and his attention to assuring customer satisfaction was apparent from the beginning. You’ll really enjoy yourself here no matter what your level of investment is. It’s a great, clean space with great smiles everywhere. This will definitely be my training pad when I’m town 😇

Always missing weights. 50 pound curl bar has been gone for over a year and not replaced. Now more curl bars are missing. Just not enough weights to sustain how busy it is here. Other than that, I do love this gym. But more equipment please!

Unfortunately EOS decides to use Every Door Direct Mailer (EDDM) Retail Service from the United States Postal Service. You can see this when the mail is not addressed and where the stamp is supposed to be located it indicates “EDDM RETAIL” on the bottom. This is unfortunately a service you are not allowed to opt out of and businesses can pay by the residential block to have USPS distribute flyers for them. Forcing a potential customer to remove unsolicited marketing trash from their mailbox, that again they are unable to opt out of, is not a positive experience. The only recourse for a consumer is to not use that business and write a review, which is what you see happening here.

It's a good price and is a bit cleaner than LA fitness on chandler blvd. Very busy during week, just not enough weightlifting equipment for the number of people. Plan on a 2.5-hour workout after 1500 (3 PM). Anytime before that, it's not as bad. Mens locker room shower drains could use some flushing out.

Damion at Warner & Priest (Ranch Rd) is the man, Ray Rd showers are cleaner than Warner / Priest but Warner / Priest friendlier associates. Both good.Ray Rd. Shower/bathroom combo has a locking door but they don't have a shower curtain where as Warner/Priest does but door doesn't lock? Both are good at repairs.

The facility is huge and beautiful and Meek up front is super nice

Their water fountains are broken. The only water they have to provide is for sale because “no one’s complaining.” It’s been 110+ degrees out every day now, and they have no water??
