I like this PF way better than the one in McClintock. Less crowded and bigger area for abs workout! Worth taking a longer road

It’s a planet fitness. It’s not as busy as the one on 40th st and Thomas. It’s clean and modern. Far for me but perfect for those who live without a couple of miles.

I am almost 60 years old and I am a member of the club on university drive in Tempe. AZ through the silver sneakers program. I have been going there for over 2 years and have never had a problem until today. I was in the 30 minute express area where I always workout and there was a man there with a child that appeared to be about 8 years old. He was playing his music on a boom box so loud that I could not drown it out by turning my music up on my hearing aids. I went to the front desk and complained. The young lady Emily, who by the way is fantastic, works there and she went to him and I am not sure what she said but he seemed to be contesting it. I went back in to continue my workout and the man not only did not turn off his music but he proceeded to harass me about complaining. I told him I was going to complain again and he said go ahead. I also told him if necessary I will call the police. Oh and by the way there were 2 women on the elipiticals who were also bothered by the music but they didn’t complain, they just went somewhere else to workout. When I went To complain again, Oz, I am not sure if he is a manger but he came back and told me that the man was told to turn the music down, not off and not to say anything else to me. He also told me that I could wait up front until the man was done with his workout and then go back. I said I should not have to wait to finish my workout, I am being harassed and he is breaking the rules. I went back the last time and attempted my workout only to be harassed again by the patron. Oz came back and tried to get him to leave me alone, but I just left.Th patron was breaking 3 rules, music without a headset, harassment, and having a child under 13 in the club. Oz should have told him to leave but he didn’t. He told me he was trying to be neutral. He should not be neutral he should enforce the rules. I have never even seen that other man in there before. If this is how I am going to be treated in this place, my husband and I both will move our memberships elsewhere. We also go to mountainside fitness with silver sneakers and I am a sure that I would never be treated there this way, nor have I ever.If I ever do go back it will be a long, long, time.

The employees were fine but be careful at this location. There are organized folks here breaking into lockers and stealing everything valuable. They even immediately used my credit card to purchase things online. Just be wary.

Clean and never too crowded. Always space to work out

Staff was rude. Stopped into use the bathroom not knowing this town is ghetto and nobody wants to let somebody use a bathroom at 8am. Glad I cancelled my membership.

THERES A LOT OF THEFT IN THIS PLACE,!!!!!!!!BEEN COMING HERE FOR ABOUT 3+ YEARS THE MACHINES ARE GOOD BUT PLEASE DONT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE LOCKERS IT WILL GET STOLEN!!!! I'VE HAD MY CREDIT CARD STOLEN MY WEDDING RING AND TODAY MY CAR KEYS WERE STOLEN FROM MY LOCKER THAT HAS A CODE AND IS RIGHT NEAR THE FRONT DESK!!!! MY FRIEND GOT HER CREDIT CARD STOLEN FROM HER LOCKER NEAR THE BATHROOM WITH A LOCK AND IT WAS SOMEHOW BROKEN INTO SMH DONT TRUST ANYBODY NEAR ANY LOCKERS EVEN IF YOU HAVE A LOCK. ABOUT TIME THAT I LEAVE THIS CLUB.AND YES I FILED A POLICE REPORT BUT FOR SOME REASON THE CLUB MANAGER WASNT "ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO" smH

Always willing to work out. This is a positive place to be no judgments zone

2 years ago I decided to change my life. So I signed up for PF. I felt comfortable and protected. Fast forward to 2023 nothing has changed I am still so impressed by the cleanliness of the gym and the welcoming of the staff members!

Black card is worth it ! Plenty of machines and massage chair room.
