Not a great gym if you are not overweight. This club has more ridiculous rules then any I've belonged to. I wanted to weigh in and see where my weight was. Well there is not a scale in this gym. They don't believe in them. I'm under contract so when I finish out I'll be headed to EOS where I feel more comfortable.

First visit to this location. Most of the same equipment as usual, but missing some of the ab workout stuff that most planet fitness gyms I’ve been to had. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Not overcrowded. Very good workout. Definitely recommend this gym.

I am so done with Planet Fitness. I was going to end my membership and noticed on my bank account that I was charged a fee of almost double what I pay for the membership. I called to get clarification of the charge and they tell me It's an annual fee and in the contract. I asked the employee on the phone if I cancelled my membership, I could get my money back (because I could not continue going there anyway because I am moving)..He said no. So i now I have to pay an annual fee to gym I am not going to go to anymore. This employee was very rude on the phone, not apologetic for the inconvenience. He just seemed annoyed I called. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me there was no manager in at all and to call back tomorrow. So no one is in charge at all.I called my bank to dispute it, which they could do but I would have to replace my cards. Way too much of a hassle. So I guess I'm just out $40.To top it off, I am out of town for the weekend and can't go in to cancel or get this resolved with a manager.Actually review of the gym:On another note, they make you pay $5 for goggles to tan eveytime (most places include them). The do not have a scale in the bathroom. No pool. No classes for training available. The discount on items for sale in the gym is a joke. They hardly have anything in the first place to purchase. The machines are old and have plug ins for headset (usually broken) to watch the tiny TV's on the wall...The employees always seem to be in a bad mood. I can only remember one time having a pleasant experience with a lady who worked the front.I will not recommend this place to anyone. Too much of a combination of bad service and not that great equipment. I can go anywhere else the price is honestly a few $$ cheaper than la fitness..

Horrible customer service. The woman working 8/31/18 around 8:00p didn’t even greet me as she even scanned my pass. She was in a deep conversation with someone else couldn’t even acknowledge me while she was scanning my card. I usually hear “have a good work out” or even “Hello!” Also as I left the building still didnt get a goodbye or have a great night. She didn’t even notice. Planet fitness at this location could also clean the lockers better in the men’s room. It’s dirty and they don’t even provide paper towel dispensers. You have to unroll raw paper towel rolls. Looks like I’m going to be searching for a better gym.

This Gym is great, always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is always the right amount of full, busy but I don't have to wait to use equipment. I would give it 5 stars if there was any way to avoid watching the news...I am going to the gym to relax and destress and there is no escape from multiple news stations playing.

I have been to several different Planet Fitness in the Phoenix area and I have to say my Membership is well worth the price. The Staff is always so friendly and always available to help you get a good work out and teach you the proper ways of using every piece of equipment they have. The bathroom, locker room and showers are always clean and well stocked. They are true about their motto, "Judgement Free Zone"

Super helpful staff! They also have the best Total Body Enhancement machine. Try it, you can't go wrong!

I love this location! For a long while I would go early in the morning and have the whole gym to myself. Sadly, that's not the case any more, but I still love this place. Always clean and the staff is alway friendly and courteous. People here are also nice. I wish they had heavier dumbells and some free weigh barbells as opposed to strictly Smith machines, but that's probably a corporate issue. Still, a great gym!

I have been coming to this gym for a few months now, so I thought I would leave a well deserved positive review with some of my experience going.Getting in better shape is something that I have been meaning to do for a long time.(as I'm sure a lot of people are meaning to as well) I'm not the most self-confident person in the world by a long shot, I usually avoid being around a larger number of people. The biggest reason I would struggle in the past is because I just always have had a large amount of anxiety about going to the gym and doing a routine around other people since it makes me uncomfortable. I had a friend move in with me from Minnesota who encouraged me to start going, and so we finally went and signed up.The fears I had about going and being around other people quickly dissipated; the atmosphere made me feel comfortable, and the staff have always been extremely kind and friendly. After a while of coming, me and my friend always use that Total Body thing. Quite a lot, the staff usually already prepare it for us because we do it every time we come in, which I think has always been really awesome and amazing of them to do that. If I do have a bad day, or I'm not really feeling the best, going to this gym brightens my mood and helps out a lot, I actually feel comfortable going there and doing my routine. I have never had any trouble, and the place is kept clean very well.About 15 weeks of going now, a lot of my effort there has been really starting to pay off and show; I've shed off more than 30 pounds of bodyfat, and more than 4 inches on the waist;So I just would really like to just say, thank you guys.Thank you guys for keeping my spirits up to keep going. Whoever manages this gym is just extremely incredible, and all of the staff are wonderful.This gym has changed my life for the better, and I look forward to going back even later today after work, and many more after. You guys are the best.

The staff is a friendly and knowledgeable group. The facility is always clean and, at the off times I go, there is always room on the equipment I use. I like this gym a lot. You will, too.
