Genesis is by far the best gym in Topeka. Very clean, nice staff, overall great place to workout at. Jeff is very thorough and took his time explaining all the amenities Genesis offers. Took me on a walkthrough throughout the club. Love this place!

The health club is great. What has been a God Send to me is my trainerCaleb Offner. I honestly couldn’t do what I am doing without him. His communication regarding form is clear and often humorous. With his expertise I know I will have results much faster than on my own.

The best gym I've ever been too! Highly recomend. Very clean, well kept, and maintained. Wonderful and nice staff as well. My only complaints are the water fountains are a little weak and there are very few santizing stations to clean your area. It's annoying to walk so far just to wipe something down.

This gym is like family. I found lifelong friendships , abs I forgot I had ;), and more energy than I had two decades ago. Best decision I ever made was to reluctantly try a spin class. The rest is history.

Overall a decent place to work out. With COVID they have spaces things out to social distance and they are not crowded at 6AM so good time to work out. They have some equipment that needs some work but is usable and if something is out of commission they are reasonably quick to get it repaired.

Hands down the best place in Topeka for classes. They offer Group Power (strength training), barre (toning, core and conditioning) yoga, Group Centergy (Pilates /yoga), cycle classes, aquatics, etc. The instructors show variations so everyone feels successful. My workouts don’t feel like work anymore! I WANT to be there.

Bars are bent. Not enough bar end clamps for barbells, which is dangerous if you're in the middle of a lift and weight shifts. Dumbells are broken and not replaced. No one re-racks their weight. Machines are poorly maintained, you can often find loose bolts or screws on the machine you're using. If a cable breaks, expect it to take about two months to be repaired. Hours posted on the door aren't accurate, they close at 6pm on Saturdays instead of 8pm...as posted. Roof leaks when it rains. No bike racks for those who'd like to bike to the gym, so good luck there. The rubber floor covering has areas where it's bubbling up, and un-even, hasn't been addressed in years.Overall, look into Crunch Fitness.

I got an excellent quote from Nick for me and my boyfriend to get started here. We were looking for a gym with an affordable price so we could get back in shape. We also loved how the equipment was spaced out and that we could work out in the empty rooms if we wanted to it made me feel like they take covid seriously. Also the locker rooms are secure so you dont have to worry about anyone taking your stuff which is a major plus.
