24 Hour Fitness at 800 SE Tech Center Dr, Vancouver, WA, offers a variety of workout options, including free weights, machines, classes, and a pool area. Members appreciate the friendly and supportive staff, especially personal trainers like Caleb, who go above and beyond to help clients achieve their fitness goals. The gym's location and variety of equipment are highlights for many patrons.

Unfortunately, the name '24 Hour Fitness' can be misleading as the hours have been reduced, closing as early as 8 PM on weekends. • Gym closes early, not 24 hours
  • Poor cleanliness, especially in locker rooms
  • Maintenance issues with sauna and steam rooms

I work out here almost every day. I love the energy of the team, the environment and the equipment. However, this gym is....well...super dirty. Granted, they are open 24 hours a day (derp) and I'm sure have hundreds of people pass through each day. But, there is a difference between just a little mess and DEEP dirty. There are cobwebs and dust/dirt in the corners of the building and windows, the bathroom is REPULSIVE and I'm actually a little scared to use the hot tub/ pool. The women's restroom, since I don't go in the guys lol, has TP everywhere...TONS of hair and just super grimey. Not the dream....I get that it's difficult to clean with patrons there all the time, but, you can still have someone attempt to clean up a bit every hour or so and deep clean at least once a day. Most big business will have someone do an hourly inspection of the place and then have management sign off on it. Maybe try that? I notice that, while your employees are super friendly, they do a lot of standing around. "If you got time to lean, you got time to clean!" Please please please fix this. Also, I'm kinda burnt out of putting back other people's weights. I know that members are to put back their own weights, but they don't always do that. I think that if your staff made the rounds cleaning and checking on things, they could also pick up and replace weights too. We pay a pretty good amount to be at this gym, so I am hoping you can make it a bit better of an environment. Thanks guys!

Has been a member for 3 years. Usually go to classes which are fun but crowded, especially around 6-6:30 or weekend mornings. Taking 2 stars off for the personal trainers attitude - signed up for a free promo sessions twice with two different trainers, no one showed up - no notice, total waste of time and motivation - ughhh!!! Need more and new classes and upgraded class schedule. Will finish my contract and look for another gym around the area.

This facility is disgusting! It's not gross in the sense that they had a busy day with lots of people, it's more like you can tell it has not been deep deep cleaned or disinfected in a long time! For example, the walkway outside the pool is actually growing algae in the small crevices/holes. There's always things at the bottom of the pool and they stay there for a long time. I'm not even going to talk about the hot tub! The women's bathroom is disgusting! The surfaces are grimy/sticky, like nothing's been wiped down in a long time. The worst is the showers! There's mildew growing EVERYWHERE, in all the tiles, in every crevice there is. The shower curtains are actually stained with massive mold/mildew growing up the entire thing. I understand gyms get messy with all the use, but that's also why they need to be professionally deep cleaned and disinfected regularly, that's part of the service, or at least it should be. Gyms are risky enough in terms on communicable diseases, they really should do their part to minimize that. I've noticed in general 24 hour fitness centers tend to be kind of gross, but this one is in desperate need of a deep clean/disinfecting.

I'm in Vancouver for one month on military orders, I told this to the sales rep who explained that I can do a one month membership with no activation fee for a grand total of $29.00 plus tax. Even after that was established, I had to tell him three times during signing up that I only needed ONE month since I won't be here after my orders are over. I'm not sure there was malicious intent there, but it's definitely awkward trying to remain polite to someone who obviously isn't listening to you.Once I felt we were on the same page, he charged me for TWO months... After a long, confusing explanation it seemed like we weren't having the same conversation and he hadn't listened to a word I said, even though WE affirmed multiple times that I only needed one month. He finally agreed to refund the other month. The next morning I went to verify the refund and was surprise by not only that it wasn't refunded, but there was an additional month charged ($105). Today, three weeks later, was my third attempt at getting a refund of the additional charges. They said it can take up to a month, I won't hold my breathe. They also canceled me on the spot, a week before the end of my membership; we'll see tomorrow if it was reversed like he said it was.The gym itself is extremely crowded even at non-peak times. I haven't come at 6am or pm, but I'm assuming there's a line out the door. Most gyms of this capacity, that I've been to, have at least one roaming custodial employee. 24 HF does not; therefore, the place is a mess. Many people horde weights and equipment, don't reset their racks, and don't put equipment back when finished. Benches are used as seats for social engagements when there are no others open. The staff is polite, but aloof. However, I probably would be too with the volume of people coming through the door. That isn't an excuse for sloppy administration and management, though. The gym IS well equipped with free weights, machines, platforms, racks, and treadmills/spinners. There are aerobics and spin classes, child care (looks like a questionable process), basketball/ volleyball court and a pool. The locker room is as dirty as everyone says it is.If you don't care about how much they charge you, large crowds and poor customer service; this may be the fitness factory for you.

I will start with the positives: Great location, & good classes.Negatives: 24 is all about how much money they can make, not their members. The club does not invest money back into new equipment or repairs. Kids club hours are bullshit. They recently changed the hours, if you have school age children it is impossible to use & they did not lower the cost at all. I live one block away from the club but cannot go very often because kids club is always closed. Club is not kept clean. They recently changed from a sport, to a super sport, back to a sport club. If you don't pay attention the rates change a lot. I have seen the general manager change 4 times. If you complain they do not care, in one ear and out the next even after being a member for years...sales, sales, sales!!I still go and will continue to go only because the club is very close to my house.

Wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone. My girlfriend and I signed up for a membership. The tour went well but when it came to paperwork, it seemed like all they cared about was getting the sale. We were rushed through the paper work, without a good chance to read any of the fine print. I decided to try and cancel since they have a three day money back guarantee. I called for three days straight and couldn't get a hold of a single person. On the fourth day, lo and behold, I received a call back. The gym itself is over crowded. People tend to hog a specific area of the gym, making it hard to do much. Locker rooms are dirty, and the gym has an uncofterabke feel to it. My girlfriend went once and hasn't gone since because of how uncomfortable she felt. They charged me to cancel even after all of this. 24 hour fitness is not a place I would recommend to anyone, due to these reasons and many more. I've been to at least 7 other gyms in the vicinity and all are better choices than 24 hour.

Best access – Hard to find decent companies that cater to night people, but this gym has always delivered. You can find them all over, the places are kept clean, and they have a wide range of equipment to use.

I have had so many issues with their Kid's Club it almost feel like I am being punished for having children. First, they had a terrible system for checking in kids before. The line is always long for drop off/ pick up. Now with the new system, it is much better and simpler for the process. However, it also created a new issue, the monthly fee you paid for your kid to go CAN'T be used for another kid!!!! So I paid $20 a month for my daughter to go to Kid's club because she's always with me while I am off. If I bring both my son and my daughter, I am more than happy to pay for my son to stay. Now they are telling me the monthly Kid Club fee is child specific. If I take only my son there, the fee doesn't apply, so I have to pay again for him to stay. That is most ridiculous thing ever!!! The monthly fee is for ONE child, so if I bring ONE child, it should apply!!The Kid's club is NOT family friendly at all! Many times I tried to use their Kid's Club bathroom to change my daughter's diaper, the changing table is installed for giants and I am 5'4". The changing table is not clean, there's no plastic bag in the bathroom (you have to bring your dirty diapers out and ask for a plastic bag while holding a baby, a diaper bag and the dirty diaper.) There's no trash can, and soap!!!I understand many of the staffs there are young and fit and don't have kids and even don't give a dame about people who HAVE kids, but seriously, we mothers are people, too. Please be nice to us. IKEA sells furniture and they have better kid friendly environment than you guys do. We mothers go to gym to make ourselves healthier for our families, please don't punish us for doing that. Many of us have to take care of jobs, kids and family, so please spare a little kindness. If I wasn't stuck with 2-year contract, I'd change my gym right now

I had a membership here over 10 years ago and have recently came back to the 24 hours fitness family. The location at the Tech Center has always been one of my favorite places to work out and I am excited to be back in the area to support such a healthy environment with great people.I would highly recommend checking out some of the packages they have whether you are an individual or a family membership, 24 hour fitness will treat you right.

Out of the three locations in Vancouver, this place comes in second. I go to it on my lunch break a couple times a week and have never had a bad experience. In fact, I left my wallet in the locker room and they held it at the front desk for me in a safe and everything was in it. So the members are honest too! LoL! I find that the front desk staff is always smiling and greeting everyone who comes in. The locker room and workout floor are always clean.... that's probably because the cleaning crew is typically in there at that time! I never have a problem finding open equipment or a place to stretch and just enjoy all the natural light that floods in on sunny days. This place is cool! Just a note for shy guys like me, they're the only 24hr in the 'Couve with open showers... so I've never showered there! *awkward*
