FitZone Ventura

I’ve only been a member for a little over a month, but so far love the gym atmosphere, the friendly staff and trainers. I feel energized after the workouts and have noticed I am getting stronger with each week. The price is much higher than the big gyms, but I believe it’s really worth the investment to stay healthy and build strength. So far I like it a lot. Having scheduled classes is also something that motivates me. If I have the schedule set and paying money for it, I am more likely to stick to it..

Over the last month (March 2019) I've taken just about every single class that Fit Zone has to offer and met every single trainer. This is truly a great group of people assembled her. Every trainer has encourage me to work a bit harder while being respectful of limitations. I love the way they throw in humor throughout the class. Sure does make the hour easier to get through. Most of the trainers take the time and effort to learn names and I'm always met with a friendly smile at the door.There is a nice variety of classes offered at various times throughout the day. My personal favorite is Lift which focuses on strength training while still getting your heart rate up.On a very personal note I want to acknowledge the sense of community offered by Fit Zone. I lost my home in the Thomas Fire and what a crazy time that was. Fit Zone did a tremendous job of organizing donations and generous, kind people to help fire survivors. I remember walking in, still very shell-shocked, to be greeted with warm hugs to a center set up to provide us with many of the necessities needed to reestablish a home. And food! I will always remember the kindness shown!Fit Zone is good for the Body and Soul!

I’ve been a member at FitZone for 3 years. The consistent quality of their workouts is amazing. They do not stay the same and become routine, and the trainers are enthusiastic, supportive and very good at what they do. Everyone from the staff to the members encourage and celebrate when goals are met and for those days when you just manage to show up. I highly recommend FitZone Ventura.

Such a great place to workout! The staff really knows its stuff and always makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. The workouts are great too!!!

Bottom line: VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE .... VERY INFLEXIBLE WITH MEMBERSHIPS. When I joined the gym I knew I was going to be moving out of the area in about a month, but joined in order to get fit and toned in prep for my wedding! Therefore, upon joining I made it clear I was looking for a one month membership. When the one month mark came up, I realized I was auto-charged for an additional month. I called right away upon seeing the charge and explained I had not intended to continue my membership because, once again, I was moving out of the area. They told me to come on in to the gym, attend a class, and they would sort out the issue afterwards. After attending class they said there was most likely nothing they could do. I explained I had made it clear upon first coming to the gym I would only be there for a month, however suggested maybe a pro-rate for the next week or so I would still be in town? (Trying to meet in the middle) They said they would see what they could do and call me to let me know. They called back and left me a message stating they could not pro-rate me or credit me back for what I had been charged, and to call if I has any questions. I called and left several messages in response...I did not intend on demanding my money back at this point, simply wanted someone to explain why there was nothing they could do, and offer them suggestions on how to avoid this situation in the future (i.e. fully explain to new members what they are signing up for). It is clear through the lack of response to my multiple messages they DO NOT want to avoid this problem in the future, and intend on continuing to exploit the ambiguities in new membership criteria. I was extremely disappointed by this experience and would never recommend this gym to anyone.

Best gym in town! Great trainers, great workouts, and a great time. Whether you're 25 or 65; whether you're super fit or a novice, this gym will make you feel welcome and provides exercises that suit every fitness level.

I’ve been a member at Fitzone for over 2 years. When I first signed up my plan was to go every other month because I also wanted to work on my core...I have an artificial disc in my back. Needless to say I didn’t stick with my plan. I have been an active member every month! I get a great core workout along with the opportunity to tone, build and sculpt my body. Fitzone is exactly what my heart and soul needed. When I have those days when I’m not feeling strong I’ve been shown how to modify the moves so that I don’t hurt or injure myself. Also, my Fitzone family gives so much to our community; why would I want to go anywhere else? I recommend that you give them a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the best gym and fitness classes in town! Instructors are incredibly motivating and each class leaves you wanting more. If you are tired of the same old boring routine, come check this place out. They have motivated me not only to be in better shape but to live a better life!

Fitzone is the most varied & comprehensive workout available! The staff is more than attentive & caring. The facility is great & I’m looking forward to the move & new exciting workouts planned in the future as a result. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to be in shape & as well as staying healthy without boring gym routines.

This place is amazing, if you want to burn fat and calories this is the place. I love it!!
