The bag issue!!!! I could write my thesis on this. New rule not found in most other gyms, no bags on the gym floor, now at all of the PF the owner franchises from PF. Staff said it comes from the GM who worked in Visalia. PF. This is terrible, not sure if the owner works out, appears that most of the workers and GM don't very much. If they did, they would have a better understanding of the reason for a bag. Not just to have your keys handy but to have the tools you need for different exercises with you,to include taking them in/out of your bag, towel, gloves,straps, back support belt, water/BCAA/protein jug, etc., the list goes on to include medical needs.There are hooks on the machines for bags etc., only small water bottles are allowed, told we cant have a large water bottle but they couldn't give me a dimension or ounce size.I learned something in law school, everyone wants to sue the person with deep pockets, so I was told its a trip hazard by PF staff, and of course people steal equipment (unfortunate cost of doing business). Now that we cannot use bags during workouts or have them on our back(?????), the floor is littered with cells, keys, sweatshirts, again the list is long. My family will be terminating our black card membership after our contract is up and going back to our previous gym as are some of the other people I spoke with.If you want to keep people, listen to them. Get rid of the bag rule and when staff see a bag on the floor tell the customer (who should be #1) to make sure its out of the walkway so nobody trips on it etc. Lets use common sense here, you have gone overboard. You wont get referrals for new members and may struggle.

Always clean, always in working order, always friendly and attentive staff. Started to get annoyed with a couple men repeatedly coming in and making a spectacle with their grunting, so I let the staff know and it stopped. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere now.

Great gym. Always has clean equipment, bathrooms and lockers. Only down side is that half your time is going to be spent waiting for a certain machine/equipment. Either have to go very early or very late if you'd like to get in a nice continuous workout.

Joined on my silver sneakers card. Not very friendly. Noticed the guys very willing to give young girls tours and explain the machines. I did not get a hello.

Big gym, everyone is super friendly. And its 24 hours. I'm happy :) No annoying grunting, and Don't listen to the downers who have a conflict of interest. Its a great gym

Love this gym. The manager (female) was kind and helpful. The staff is always cleaning. The other members help create a comfortable atmosphere.

The staff is always cleaning, or refiling the paper towels. They are always available when you have questions or need help. The equipment are kept in safe and working order and there are many station to choose from.

Nice and clean bathroom are nice but employees not so nice! Alot of them just hang out front counter talking so when you actually go up to purchase a drink it felt like I was bugging, No kind of friendly customer service, evening and night crew much more friendly, went today around 1:30! Disappointed

This gym is a contact even though stated on the promotion not to be. The so called Manager was contacted on January 27, 2019. She stated that customers are not told about the contract until later. We signed up for the $20 a month. Went to cancel and was told there was a cancellation fee of $58.00. Think carefully before you join this gym or any gym. Talked to a Manager and was told to call corporate office. This place is not worth ut because the machines arw not free weights. I joined all In Shape gyms for $44 for 2 people....and they have pools,spas,tennis and racquetball.

I went into the Visalia location to cancel my membership and (Jose) whom "helped" me was very rude. I was charged for this months payment the day i canceled and asked if i could get refunded and he shook his head and stated NO! and that the company doesn't refund for any circumstance, which I thought was odd. I had asked then since I paid for the month if I could still use the gym and he stated NO once i cancel thats it.I also got charged an annual fee of $40 a few days prior so i asked if i could get that refunded since they're charging me for the whole year. He stated again stated "NO". This is not right, charging me for a year that I'm not even going to be able to use. I then asked if they refund atlas like a "prorated" refund? he once again stated "NO". I then stated I didn't think that was right because the right thing to do is to refund folk their money back especially since you can't use the gym after you cancel. He then stated that "the owners are millionaires they don't care"I'm not one to argue or write reviews in fact this is my first time I've ever written a review. The only reason i am writing this is because i feel like I've been robbed!
