Incompetent staff I came in and cancelled my membership and they claimed the computer system was down and never cancelled it so I cancelled my card. They have documentation in the form of email that I tried to cancel.

Overall it's a decent place, but there are a couple of areas where they could do better. On weekends, the bathrooms are not cleaned, so there's paper and hair everywhere. The second area is maintenance. The handicapped bathroom (only 1!) has been out of commission for 2 weeks now. It's pretty tough for those of us who need the safety bars.

Love this place. I use the location in Waco, Temple, and Killeen the most, and Waco is by FAR the best and most spacious. Even at peak hours, you will most likely have plenty of floor space and equipment for functional strength training, at least. Equipment is well spaced apart and the changing rooms are clean. Staff is usually super nice. Class instructors are great too.

It's not a bad gym, it's a bit busy and is always HOT inside, especially in the area with the squat racks - the AC doesn't blow over in that area.

I went for a job interview and was JUDGED upon being honest and open about my past which I didn’t have to be. I’m guessing the man, who couldn’t look me in the eye, during the interview is PERFECT. I will not be working out at this gym either and don’t recommend it to anyone else either.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I used to go to crunch a lot but not anymore. It gets so pack anyways and you have to constantly wait for things to get open. I had it as alternative. I used to have a Peak membership, I had paid my monthly and my yearly fee already. I needed to downgrade since I was paying so much for a gym I haven’t gone to in months. First, I thought it was ridiculous that I had to be there in person. I’ve downgraded before over the phone and signed the documents electronically, and it was no big deal then. When I tried to downgrade a second time from a Peak, they wouldn’t allow over the phone and were going to charge to downgrade. That’s ridiculous. This gym is a money eating place. Just two months ago from today, I paid almost $100 towards crunch. They charged me the yearly fee and monthly. Which I understood because I was aware and advised about it. Now that I’ve downgraded, 2 months later (today), they want to charge me another yearly fee + my membership (Base) since I downgraded. I literally just paid so much 2 months ago… I called and tried to get an explanation and was told because I downgraded, I had to pay a yearly fee again????? It hasn’t even been a year. That was never stated to me in person. I was never given the contract via email or person to even know if that was part of the contract. They are always changing things. All they said was sorry…Crunch is full of BS! They want to charge $60+ to cancel completely plus another month. That’s stupid.. I don’t want to pay for another month, I’m not coming back. Thats the point! I just want to cancel my membership completely and not pay another month…

I really like this gym because of the variety of workout options and styles. Variety of weights and machine. Classes are great. I enjoy the cycling classes and R&R yoga with Angela. That class alone is worth the price. Tanning beds and booths are included depending on membership chosen. Massage chairs are nice for cool downs. Staff is friendly as well.
