We have an the best experience at family martial arts of Texas. The instructors are so patient when it comes to kids. Honestly, I don't now how Mr. Butler does it! I can't speak for all the programs, but tough tigers is awesome!

I absolutely love this place! The instructors are incredible and well trained. It has taught my son not only how to defend himself but also how to control his energy and better his focus! Would recommend this place to anyone!

We love family martial arts! My son started two years ago and it has helped him with so many skills, the instructors spend so much time and attention on the kiddos and really focus on the fundamentals and the values they are teaching.

I recently put Calvin in Family Martial Arts of Texas and I am so happy with my decision. The teaching is outstanding, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend Martial Arts to anyone that has children. They also teach them discipline and how to protect themselves. I couldn't be more happier with the results that Calvin has learned and made since attending the program.

Since 1982, I have trained with multiple martial arts studios in the Waco area. From Shotokan to Taekwondo, I have experienced various levels of instruction. I’d classify FMAT as excellent. Family Martial Arts of Woodway is amazing!! My oldest started going last year in tough tigers and it has helped him to be more confident in himself but also he has found one of the things he truly loves to do..taekwondo! He is now in the basic class and loves every minute. The instructors are patient, kind, but also constructive in the right ways. We love it here!! 😊

My son has been going here for almost 2 years. I have seen so much growth in my son's confidence and self control. We are consistently getting positive feed back from teachers and staff at his school on his growth. They have made us feel like family from the moment we joined. My daughter started Family Martial Arts when she was 11 and became an amazing martial artist. My 7 year old son is now learning so much from them. I’m so glad our family is part of this wonderful organization.

We enrolled my grandson at Family Martial Arts of Texas because he needed something more to do than play computer games! Two years later he is so much stronger and disciplined; and enjoys learning new moves and the weapons. He is now in the advanced class working toward his black belt. His sister decided she wanted to do it to. She has learned self defense, and enjoys the Demo team. Both my grandchildren are so much stronger and have gained so much confidence. The staff are so patient and kind with the kids, and always encourage them and help them to grow and achieve their goals.
