Family Martial Arts does a great job of helping everyone of all levels feel included which helps with learning and growth. It’s a fun yet challenging atmosphere. Great for the whole family!

My daughter has been enrolled here for a year and a half and she absolutely loves it. It has taught her self confidence, respect and discipline, just to name a few. I really appreciate the way each instructor helps every student. We even scheduled my daughter’s birthday party here, and multiple children who attended decided to sign up. I could go on all day but I’ll leave my review with this- If you’ve been thinking about signing your child or yourself up for Taekwondo, THIS is THE place to do it! My daughter has been attending classes since she was not even 5 y/o (she’s now almost 7) and still enjoying and looking forward to being in class. She came from being shy and scared to being confident and strong. All of her masters were great, friendly, patient and encouraging. Special shout out to Master Geddes and Master Osborne as they’ve been an exceptional role model/ teacher/ master and they continue to do so.Thank y’all for everything that you do for our kids!

I just enrolled my grandson recently and I have to say , we love it here. I can already see a difference in my 4 year old grandson. He is so excited to earn his stripes, at home, school , and in the facility. He loves to show off his moves he's learned.This is a family owned business, which gives off the vibe that everyone is family. How the instructors remember each child's name, blows my mind. And, the patience the instructors have with these little one's is amazing. I recommend this place 100%.

After 2 1/2 years of going here I can officially say this place sucks. I was a 1st degree black belt coming from a different place and when I first came here there was no program for black belts what so ever. It’s almost like they expected us to progress from just the little kid class, no offense to the little kids. After about a 2 years they finally made a black belt program which still sucked. The only positive thing I can say about this place is the people are nice.

My stepson, a white belt, set in on the black belt mastery class. Everyone seemed very friendly and very welcoming to our entire family.

Excellent program!! I am 27 and have been training with family martial arts for about a month and a half now. I have lost about 15lbs, gained more flexibility and strengthened my body and mind. I would highly recommend this program to anyone. The staff work very well with you and are very knowledgeable in the art of Taekwondo.

Great family environment and amazing staff. When the pandemic hit they went above and beyond to continue to provide lessons remotely. My son has benefited so much from them. I would highly recommend them. They also have classes for adults!

I’m writing after 3 years of experience, and it has been amazing. This is the preeminent academy for martial arts in Waco. I was referred here by a colleague and enrolled my son who was doing well academically but needed an extracurricular activity for exercise and friendship and help with discipline.. My son really took to it right away having not liked team sports. The instructors are great, some classes are larger than others, but there’s flexibility. Before long the discipline referrals from school disappeared. This isn’t a black belt factory. You really learn and earn your way up the ranks and it’s very inspirational every step of the way. After basic we kept going. The kids exercise, gain confidence, learn self defense, make best friends, and learn life skills.The leadership program is very growth building and the changes in my son have been amazing. Early on we felt part of the family. A year after our son started my wife and I joined the program and I wish we had sooner. It’s very enriching to our lives. Exercise, motivation, self-defense, new friends, a lot of fun for adults too. I recommend to parents for their children and to give it a try for themselves to see if it’s for them. Great atmosphere. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m really happy to have found this academy and wish we had sooner.
