Gold's Gym Waco

Driving through town and stopped in for a workout. Jennifer up at the front was absolutely amazing! Her energy was infectious and helped me crush my workout! Shout out to management for hiring her! ✨

The hot tub, sauna and pool are closed since Jiune last year. They were supposed to open but the managment did not due to less demand. But they charged me for these amenities for a whole year and not providing any refund. This is a complete steal.. very unprofessional.

Very cool vibe here at this gym!! I wish everything could be open like the basketball courts and pool but due to covid it can’t be open. The movie theatre screen is dull so I don’t go in the work out area that plays movies. That area could be updated and it is super dark compared to the other golds gyms I have been in. If you want a cool gym with nice staff and mangers make sure to check this gym out!! 👍 P.s. they always have sales on snacks!!

Honestly this is one of the most friendly and well kept gyms that I have ever been to. The trainers are extremely helpful and friendly, and they all practice what they preach, working out right beside you the entire time. It’s commercial gym equipment with local gym workers. You won’t find a better place wether you’re new or experienced, it’s a place for everyone.

Waco Golds treated me exceptionally well. I was on break for a month, and they were the only gym in Waco to offer to help me maintain my fitness for such a short period. They clearly care about the individual wellness of each member and make a concerted effort to personalize the fitness experience. Every staff member here was outgoing and helpful, and answered every question I had. As with any gym, membership terms can be tricky, so I recommend asking for clarifications and terms before joining, but nothing out of the ordinary. They clearly answered my questions and concerns, and went above and beyond to ensure my transition back to my home residence went smoothly. Cant recommend enough for any fitness level and health background.

Pool was closed back in August and was told by management they would freeze my paid in full account for 90 days so I could see the improvements they would be doing to the gym. 90 days have gone by and nothing has changed at the gym. Asked management previously for partial refund of my paid in full dues since the pool was an amenity that I normally use 4x a week but that obviously fell on deaf ears. Would not recommend this gym as they definitely don't consider their customers before removing something the members enjoy and don't compensate or provide any other benefit in it's place.

Staff and other members were amazing and motivating, I am a big big dude and I had people who were ripped come up to me and tell me they are proud of me for investing in my health

I had quit because of covid-19 , the gym went ahead and charge me for the month that I did not attend. There was no way that I could get in touch with them,to quit going .

It is 7:20 and it still not open. About 10 people have left because they planned an early workout as part of their day.

I have only been there 3 times since tbe Covid outbreak. People are wearing their masks on the way in, then they are not over their nose and mouth while they are there, they are on their chins or just around their necks! That is doing no good whatsoever! And I was told at the desk that, that was ok. NO IT ISN'T! My husband had chemo and his immune system is down, I can't catch anything, cause I could carry it home to him. This virus Kills, if you want to die, be my guest, but don't take the rest of us with you!!!!!!
