Gold's Gym Waco

I submit this hopefully to see improvements in this gym. I’ve been a faithful golds member for a long time spanning multiple states. I would say this is one of the worst golds that I have been to. They have no staff and the ones that are there are pretty rude. The other day they failed to open in the morning and 50 or so people were waiting outside. They were unapologetic and rude when I asked about it.The condition of the equipment is poor and they put little maintenance into the equipment. Equipment may be broken for weeks before repair. The locker room is dirty and the there is mold growing in the showers. The paper towels are always empty and again, the staff doesn’t care.Management needs to take action. Since there aren’t very many gyms in town, they take advantage by providing sub par service. This gym has great potential, but gives a bad name to the golds name.

Nice staff, great facility, lots of options, and I've lost 7lbs in a week and a half. (changed diet too, and most of it is water weight).

Trainer looking for employment and growth. Out of the 3 locations nearest, Waco is where I felt most comfortable during interview. Great place! Hope to one day become affiliated.

Its a pretty nice gym, but there arent many water fountains. The one in the men's lockerroom tastes like pool water. The evenings are packed but they have a good amount of equipment

Good gym for all the basic stuff. If you want your handheld, not so much - plus thats just not what works in the longrun.Hot whirlpool, great dry sauna, pool is good.Would be nice if they kept Closed Caption on at all times on the TV's. Too easy to forget your earphones - or else they can pull out of your ears while on the treadmill or bikes. Same at all gyms but many keep CC on the TVs.Would recommend some situp boards

This is a great place to get your workout on. The facility includes a pool, sauna, Cinema room, woman's private work room, Zumba classes, spin classes, basketball court, plenty of machines to hit weights and cardio. Also can drop the kids off in a play room for at least an hour. Busy times include weekdays after 5. Check it out if you're in town and have a membership.

Love working out here. It can get a little crowded asking 5pm, but the cried soon leaves and there is enough equipment for working out oh machines or free weights. Great classes for yoga, body pump, or spin classes. I would highly recommend this gym for its variety of machines and free weights. Plus cardio equipment and trx station.

This gym was clean and very presentable. It was my first time in a Gold's Gym and I would definitely go back when I visit Waco. Was only in town for a few days and the drop-in rate was reasonable at $10 and I was able to workout how I wanted. Gave only 4 stars because some of the equipment was a little worn out and I'm pretty sure the plates are not the weight they display. With only 1 power rack I can't imagine people come here and are able to squat without waiting forever.

Love this gym. Lots of machines and weights, and most of the staff is pretty friendly. Kristen, the front desk associate, is always warm and smiling. The place is pretty clean. My only complaint is there could stand to be more bars for the bench press and squat machines. There aren't enough and sometimes the machines will be open, but there won't be an available bar, so I end up not being able to do my workout or I have to wait for an open one. Other than that, 5 stars!

I really havent been here and its the new year and i am ready to make changes in my body i have two kids never have time. But wanted to know if they have free workouts that i can use.
